This is an outstanding hotel in a perfect location in Prague. The rooms are large, quiet, and elegant. The service is sophisticated yet friendly. They anticipate all of your needs. My glasses were by the side of the bed and housekeeping left a cloth to clean my glasses next to them. There was also a book beside them - and they left a beautiful bookmark. We were celebrating a special occasion and they left fruit, wine and a card. I am a MO member, so perhaps some of these are because of that....if so, become a member! The benefits are phenomenal.

Prague is with no doubt one of the most beautiful, gorgeous, exquisite cities in the world, a must for a good traveler, but when you add a beautiful hotel like the Mandarin Oriental the experience is superb.
We stayed there 3 nights and we loved it. All personnel at the front desk, concierge, restaurant, bar, and housekeeping, were so kind and professional. People at the front desk took all the time to answer all our questions, always with a smile. They speak several languages which was very helpful. Although we know the hotel chain well, and the quality of its facilities, this one was a wonderful surprise. Located in an old monastery, the building combines tradition and modernity. Our beautiful suit faced the interior “patio,” which made it quiet and well illuminated. The marble heated floor in the bathroom was great, as well as 2 TVs, one in the room and one in the bathroom. Attention to detail was such that the housekeeper noticed I had used a pencil to mark my place in a book and replaced it with a book marker, and also tidied up the desk with the aid of a few cable ties for our chargers. And all this on top of chocolates, fruit, fantastic bed lines, and other wonderful amenities. Bar at nights is cozy and lively with great food and drinks.
So, after long days of walking this marvelous city - Prague needs to be walked -, we looked forward each day to going back to our hotel and enjoying it.

We are typically an AirBnB family when we travel but a business opportunity permitted us to stay in M.O. Prague and it was truly an exceptional experience.

The location is amazing, with easy walks to many of the sites, the wonderful Ostrov Kampa walking park along the river and the Petřín Gardens a block the other way.

Even with Covid limitations at the hotel and the city pretty much in lockdown, the staff were exceptional and accommodating, significantly above the typical Czech service standards. They made our stay memorable and we have truly become Fans of M.O.

The hotel's food was also fantastic and actually very good value, although the limited menu meant we used Wolt often for delivery. Overall, our food experience was really good, with diverse offerings, great value and really tasty food.

We look forward to our return to Prague in better times.

P.S. Our bed was particularly firm...we did not enjoy. And, if feather pillows are not your thing, they have memory foam or anatomic available!

My wife and I stayed a few nights at the Mandarin Oriental in Prague. It's on the Mala Strana side of the river (opposite side from Old Town and Clock, etc., same side as the Castle), but it is close to the Charles bridge, so a short walk. The hotel is well appointed and the service is gracious and excellent. Softer towels and Netflix as an option on the TV would have been nice (or cables to connect devices - but we didn't ask). That said, on par with a Four Seasons from a service perspective. Breakfast was excellent and concierge services were great

Well located in Mala Strana, next to the Ministry of Culture, the MO provides calming relief from the madding crowds that throng the Charles Bridge. This is a peaceful, part of town and the hotel does everything to enhance that atmosphere of tranquility. Though the buildings are old, the interiors are thoroughly modern and the rooms superb. We stayed in a Deluxe Terrace Room which was spacious, luxurious and very comfortable. As you'd expect, the bathroom was also top notch.Service throughout the hotel was also faultless, professional, efficient, but also friendly and delivered with a smile and a personal comment. Spices Restaurant reflects the MO Asian heritage with well designed, innovative menus and the hotel's spa is just magnificent.

It was a wonderful experience. Your people made the difference. Many thanks! We cannot express in enough words how helpful and attentive your team was during our stay. The cleaning staff deserve top marks from us! One of your staff members (Vlad I believe) went out of his way to help me clean up a very muddy bike. The maintenance staff (Roman) was kind enough to help me with a temporary bike repair so we could ride to a local bakeshop for parts (location suggested by Mike).

We had an exceptional experience staying at mandarin oriental in Prague. Staff were very courteous, room was very comfortable, location is very central in lesser town close to all major tourist attractions. Excellent concierge team facilitating great first time visit to Prague and cesky krumlov. They also have an excellent on site restaurant and spa . Far exceeded our expectations in hospitality. Highly recommend this 5 star luxury hotel in Prague!

The Mandarin Oriental Prague, which is inside a former monastery complex, could be located neither more conveniently nor more beautifully. The historic city parts on the river's west side and by the foot of the majestic Prague Castle make an excellent starting point to explore the city. The proximity to the Charles Bridge and all other major attractions on the one hand, and the serene nature of its small alleys on the other, are just exquisite.

While in 2020, when we first stayed at the property, we had some issues with other aspects, none of our wishes remained open this time. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, very professional and got every wish and request just right.

Our room was spacious, had access to the hotel's lovely (former monastery) courtyard, and, as the entire premise, boasted a level of cleanliness that can hardly be found among global competitors even though the rooms are not exactly new. The housekeeping does a fantastic job!

Most impressively, this can be witnessed in the bathroom, which spoils with a nice bath tub, a functional rain shower and amenities of high quality.

Furthermore, the bed was very comfortable and the carpet spotless.

For the breakfast, which was delivered to our room on a complimentary base, we can recommend the really delicious omelette, but were disappointed at the quality of bread, which could clearly be improved.

In general, breakfast regulations are quite complicated with certain dishes (such as Eggs Benedict and desserts) designated as costly supplements. Upon request, this was immediately changed for us, but it would be nice if these complications were removed in the future.

We ordered in-room dining twice and were convinced by it on both nights. Especially, the Chicken Tikka Masala was great!

After all, we were really intrigued by the standard of the place and will be back for sure!

I loved every minute of my stay here. The location was ideal, the room was beautifully appointed (overlooking the garden in a light dusting of snow) and it had everything I needed, including very large white fluffy towels. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were immaculate - not a single line or crease! Breakfast was good and I liked the setting in the "cells" of the monastery. Everyone was very friendly; they even remembered my name when we met again. I mention Michal, who was great fun to talk to and very helpful, an excellent ambassador for the hotel.

The hotel is lovely and is in a perfect location - centrally located but feels isolated and peaceful (in my opinion, a much better location than the Four Seasons which is just on the other side of the Charles Bridge but feels very exposed alongside a busy road).

It's the staff that makes this property truly great. A special note to Michal for his help checking in and orienting us to the hotel and the city (his study of and love for history make him a great tour guide!) and to Florian who stepped in to make sure that requests were accommodated perfectly and that our stay for a special birthday was flawless. Breakfast is good, the spa with the ruins of an early church beneath its floor was professional and kindly opened for us with advanced booking even on a day that they are ordinarily closed. Twice a day housekeeping was perfect. They even rushed pressing our shirts after laundry hours when we realized we couldn't head to dinner with the shirts wrinkled from our luggage.

The only hiccups were the few times we tried to call for room service and the line wasn't answered, and the time we asked for ice at a certain time and it wasn't delivered. Very minor stuff! For my taste, the bed was way too firm, but they do have a pillow menu (including aromatherapy pillows) that I'm still mad we didn't take advantage of.

A note for LGBTQ travelers: this is one of the most accommodating properties I've stayed at with my partner. The staff quickly learned our different last names and never hesitated once to welcome us with no trepidation. When I called a week in advance to schedule some birthday surprises, not only was the staff happy to oblige but made additional suggestions for romantic touches. This sounds minor, but there were even two sets of male slippers in the room. Many (even excellent) hotels will often inadvertently leave cards addressed to "Mr. and Mrs.," have one large and one small bathrobe or slippers - small things that make us feel slightly less welcome. We didn't experience any of that at the Mandarin Oriental Prague - just the opposite.
