Of all the delightful experiences we had on this, our first trip to Prague, the one that truly stands out is that of walking off what is surely the city's most crowded and touristy street into this little haven of a hotel: cozy, comfortable, full of old world character, but with every facility one could reasonably demand. We were received... More

I have now stayed at this hotel for a 3rd time and it only gets better. The rooms are very comfortable some with traditional Czeck decoration. I tend to book the Imperial suite which is at the top of the hotel and has superb views down to Charles Bridge and up to the castle. It is the full length of... More

The hotel is within a fantastic location of Prague due to being on the road of the Charles Bridge linking to Old Town. A 5-10 minute walk to the Prague Castle and Piton Hills, in addition to a 5-10minute walk from Old Town Square. We stayed 3 nights in the Imperial Suite of this beautiful character hotel in November 2013.... More

The service here was exceptional, my husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. Both Michail and Nikoleta from reception were great. Nikoleta was the one who assisted us with our booking. She was kind enough to arrange our airport transfer and also print our boarding passes for our trip home. Michail, meanwhile, was the one who received us when... More

Well, all the reviews about location are true. Streetcar/bus hub a block away, 100 metres to the Charles Bridge, a 14th century pub next door, a complete market with fresh food, cold beer, wine & spirits on the corner; what more do you need? The hotel is lovely. 15th century with nice modern touches like WiFi, big shower, and even... More

This is a small hotel located right at the Lesser Town side of the Charles Bridge. Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
