After deciding to book Hotel Savic on the toss of a coin, my girlfriend and I were extremely pleased that it proved to be a fantastic place to base ourselves for a few days in Prague. The location was ideal, close to the old town square, Charles Bridge, yet nicely tucked away down a side street. It is within easy...

Prague is a beautiful city and staying at the Savic Hotel made the entire experience unforgettable. We were welcomed with a glass of champagne and given heaps of information about the city. Our room was on the top floor and was very tastefully decorated, big four poster bed and huge exposed beams. The location was perfect for exploring the whole...

If you want to be in a great location to explore Prague the Savic is perfect. One or two of the staff were a bit dour but most were friendly and helpful. We were in a Superior room which was spacious and the bed really comfy and considering it is bang in a busy area we heard very little noise....

We recently stayed at this hotel and enjoyed every minute of it. My boyfriend emailed the hotel prior to our arrival to arrange a taxi transfer from the airport and to upgrade us to a Superior room due to us celebrating our anniversary during our stay. On arrival at the airport the taxi was waiting for our short journey (700...

Great hotel, superb location, friendly staff, sight seeing was so easy from this location and recommend the Brew Pub across the street. Do not have the pork knuckle unless very hungry or sharing!! Do go to a Organ Concert in the church to the left of the hotel entrance.(left again after.)

The title says it all !!! This lovely little hotel is a gem, the rooms are gorgeous, the staff friendly and the breakfasts are excellent. Its right in the centre of the old town, which makes sightseeing a doddle. We only had two nights on this visit but managed to get to see loads in Prague due to the location...

Savic is in an old Dominican monastery and, as a result, each room is unique. We stayed in 3 different rooms (through some mixups associated with our reservation). The junior suite 208 has really tall ceilings, huge windows and a four-poster bed. The bathroom has a huge tub/shower combined. Junior suite 303 is really on the 4th floor as you...

We travelled with friends to Prague and chose the Savic Hotel due to it's location and Tripadvisor reviews and on arrival we were pleasantly surprised by our choice, being welcomed by a very helpful smiling receptionist and a glass of chilled sparkling wine. We had a room with an entrance area with a large bedroom and two large comfortable beds,...

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
