Savic hotel has been one of the nicest surpices travelling. I booked it through an easyjet offer and it was so cheap i thought it would be a just OK hotel, but instead we found ourselves in this 4 start hotel with absolute charm, full of history, helpful staff and its location just could not be better, as it is...

A great hotel extremely close to all major tourist sites. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Breakfast waiters were also polite enough - the selection at breakfast was below our expectations though. The biggest pro is the largest con however : this hotel can get very noisy during the night, as the "pub crawl" crowd rules this central part of Prague...

This was our third trip to Prague and our first to the Savic. We stayed Monday to Friday mid March to celebrate hubby's birthday. Check in was a breeze with a welcome drink each (can't beat the Czec beer!). We arrived just after 10pm and the guy on reception couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. We stayed in room...

Stayed here in February 2012 and couldn't fault the hotel at all. The location is excellent - a minute's walk from the old town square - but not too busy as down a small side street. The warm welcome we received - with a drink and plentiful advice - was great, and indicative of the helpfulness of the staff throughout...

We stayed in the Savic Hotel from 26/02/12 – 29/02/12, we had arranged a transfer through the hotel as we had heard the cabs could turn out quite costly and so was very happy when we walked through arrivals and there waiting for us was the driver, it was a good start to the trip! We arrived at the hotel...

My partner and I chose this hotel after some fairly extensive research and despite having ambassador status with Intercontinental with 2 nights worth of points, we booked here based on the previous reviews. Everything about the hotel was excellent; the welcome and advice from Lenka on arrival, the quirky/cool layout of the floors, the room itself (spacious, comfortable), the location...

Stayed at the Savic for my wife's birthday in January 2012. The staff were very nice, the room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable. We would love to return in the near future.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
