We booked a 2bedroom apartment for $113cdn a night at the Charles Bridge B&B. Arriving after reception had closed, the receptionist was waiting by the main door of the B&B to walk us to the apartment a block away. A comfortable stay, clean rooms, clean bathroom, and kitchen. Nice to have space and not a tiny hotel room. Breakfast is...

This property has an absolutely amazing location, and for the price, I'd be willing to put up with anything except a bug infestation. Needless to say, there was no bug infestation so I was extremely happy with this hotel. My wife and I had a busy stay planned, so our goal was to find a place with a decent room...

We had the pleasure of staying in this quaint little B & B, nothing to fault it, it was clean, quiet, warm, staff very very friendly, nothing was a problem for them, location was just off Charles Bridge, which meant we got to walk over the Bridge everyday, it was a delightful little place to stay and of all the...

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at the charles bridge B&B. It is in an ideal location - literally just off Charles bridge on Lesser Town side. The rooms were fine for what we wanted. Clean..... basic though. The breakfast wasn't up to much. Reception staff was friendly enough when she wasnt on the phone! Overall ideal...

Incredible location, for a very good price. Really liked the old building. Located on a small square, really right next to the charles bridge. We had a big room, even with a small hallway. Nice bathroom, with hair dryer and small bath. Double bed, which made loads of noise, when turning around in your bed! Small stairs led to a...

Booked on Hotelroom.com. It was not really a B&B but it was nice none the less. The hostess was kind and very helpful. The room itself was great, appeared newly renovated. Room had a nice sized bathroom, kitchen (complete with stove, fridge and cookware), 3 decent beds and a TV. Free wireless internet was also provided. Overall very satisfied with...

I stayed in this BB with my wife for 4 nights and we really enjoyed it. Location is excellent, nice Charles Bridge is really 20 meters far from the hotel and the Old Town is only on the other side of the Vltave river. We also liked our room, we found it comfortable enough, We were surprised there was even...

I have just returned from a 5-day stay in Prague, in Charles Bridge B+B. It was a wondrerful stay, not only thanks to the beautiful city of Prague, but also thanks to the perfect accommodation. When we arrived, there was no "water problem", we were accommodated in a very nice room, simple but as I said very nice and clean....

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
