The apartment was great. Within walking distance of everything. We had a washer, but no dryer which is typical in Europe. There was a coffee maker, but no filters and the supermarket nearby didn't have any either. The bathtub drain was very slow and when I told the front desk they said "We know." :) There was parking available at...

Nice location overlooking the square. Our apartment had great windows. The apartment was large but hot water was out for last two days. Told desk and sent e-mail but no response from management. Also not clean. Trash in the hallways and elevator. Single beds were fine for small children but not for adults. Prague is a great city but I...

This was our first time booking an apartment for a long weekend, and we are very happy we chose this place. The web site (http://www.pragueapartment.cz/home-page/) provided all the information we needed and we were able to book the exact apartment we wanted. They are very pet friendly as we brought our 3, not so small dogs. The apartment (Studio Apartment...

I thought our apartment was going to be on the square. It was 800 meters away. The apartment was lovely. Plenty of space and everything we needed was there. They even had a welcome bottle of wine for us! We only wish we had known beforehand the actual location of the apartment

I stayed here last weekend with 7 girl friends and it was exactly what we needed! There was 2 showers and 2 toilets, a kitchen, a living room/dining room and 3 bedrooms each with 4 beds in. There was a tv with english channels and a safe also. It was clean and had a fully equipped kitchen. It didn't have...

The hotel is in front of Wenceslas Square and two metro stations (Muzeun and Mustek - so you can go to any metro line). The price is good, but the room was cleaned only one time on my stay. The towels was changed only two times too... Anyway, it's a good choise if you are not very rigorous. The staff...

Location directly at Wenceslas Square is just great. Apartments are spacious but service is terrible! A malfunction with the hot water (boiler) forced us to go to reception four times. First we were told 'somebody will take care within 5 minutes', than we got a key for another room to take a shower - this was a used room! We...

We were here for one night in early June 2013 and we were given the Apple 1 room. Apple 2 is just down the hall. The room is small – approximately 8 x 10. Toilet and shower facilities are in shared, separate rooms down the hall. The room overlooks a plaza. There is a restaurant in the plaza and the...

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
