Don't stay at this hostel. It is full of BED BUGS. I booked three nights. During the first night I woke up and I saw the bed bugs on the pillow, on the blanket, on the sheet. I woked up because the bed bugs already bit me. The next day the hostel coudn't offer a clean room so I left... More

It is a very nice hostel. The apartments was clean and nice. We stayed in an apartment with two rooms, each with 4/5 beds, kitchen and a bathroom. I was very satisfied with the hostel. The only thing negative I experienced was that the skylight windows over my bed did not have any curtains, that was a little bit annoying... More

Me and my work mates went for 4 days (3 nights) and stayed in one of the rooms with 7 beds. The room was cleaned when we arrived, we waited in a lounge where they had loads of flyers etc... for tourists and a TV with comfy sofas. They also have 3 computers with Internet access for free and if... More

First of all I had to wait for about an hour, till the receptionist opened the door / she was a friendly girl though, but had to bring visitors to affiliated house as the Euro Guesthouse was full. I was also put into another apartment about 2 blocks away. The rate was 900 CZK which is about 40 EUR and... More

The booking came in at the last moment and we were all booked full. The apartment we had to transfer the guest to what was probably the last apartment in Prague, with our apologies. Finding an alternative apartment for the very convenient price of EUR40 was, we guarantee, no joke. The partner that offered us the apartment described it as... More

We've been with a group of 9 people to Krakovska appartements. The reception was closed and did not answer the phone, we wait 3 hours till we could check in!!!! We had a really poor appartement: It was one big room with 8 beds, a tv (which didn't work), 4 chairs and a table. A kitchen with a gas cooker... More

If you are on a stag do then stay here! Its about 100 yards from Wenceslas Square and has a nice but very small pub on the corner. I was surprised, having stayed in dormitory accommodation before, to find a Kitchen/Diner with a TV and a kinda "Freeview" box that only showed Czech channels (well, what do you expect?). Bedroom... We stayed at the Krakovska Hostel and Apartments after finding them through hostelbookers.com. Although the location of the hostel is great, the building is a bit run down. Our rooms are large, though fairly simple and not particularly clean. The hostel is only staffed from 9am-5pm which caused us some issues i.e. we couldn't check in when we arrived at... More

Very basic accomodation in the heart of Prague. The apartment which we stayed in was a 2 bedroom first floor apartment with kitchen and private shower, bath and toilet. 5 lads stayed for 4 nights. Excellent location, really couldnt be better, a 1 minute walk to Wencelas Square. We didnt see the owner from the time we booked in to... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
