We had a wonder time in Prague made all that more special as it was over Christmas time and our stay in a most Charming hotel. Very clean. Lovely rooms. Staff friendly. Great location .Would highly recommend this hotel.
Don't let the fact that it's not in the old city drive you off this one. Prague is really easy to go around by tram, once you get the hang of it. Super clean room and bathroom, airconditionimg available, beautiful soft beds, wonderful breakfast, very polite staff at a reasonable price.
Stayed twice …in Dec pre Xmas and after New Year 2023 First stay was good accommodated 3 of us in one room which fitted all our needs, breakfast included and was excellent, staff friendly and helpful. Second stay staff not friendly until last day when one of the previous staff was rostered on,I think her name was Lucie with long dark hair (not 100%).The guy who came to help with our luggage just looked while we transferred it and he had dreadful body odour. We had no breakfast included this time even though we payed the same amount for both stays. The atmosphere wasn’t there in Jan. It was very well located to Wensaceles Square and handy to cafes, shops, restaurants etc. Would return to the Majestic
This is the second visit to the Majestic Plaza Hotel in Prague. Fast check in, spotlessly clean rooms. Good selection of food for breakfast. Nothing is to much to ask, lovely staff. I would recommend this hotel 100%
Stayed for a 4 night short break, very pleased with our choice of hotel, great room, large comfortable double bed, great breakfast, friendly helpful staff. Hotel is ideally situated for visiting the sights. would recommend.
We visited this hotel for our mini-moon after our wedding. Before arrival we were promised 'something special' to reflect this occasion but received nothing, not even a reply to an email I'd sent about our disappointment. The walls are extremely thin - we had to complain to reception at 3am one night because next door was still so noisy. We were then woken up the next morning (and every morning) very early by the cleaners as the walls offer no sound proofing. Breakfast was ok with good coffee options. The best part of this hotel was the location - it's near to all tourist attractions. But overall a very disappointing stay.
The Majestic Plaza is in a good location situated 5 minutes from Wenceslas Square and 15 minutes from the Old Town Square. The lobby area is smart and modern and the adjacent bar is a pleasant place to spend an evening. Our double room was small and dark but had all the necessary items. Breakfast was our main concern. The variety of food was okay but whatever time we went down for breakfast it was always extremely busy. There seemed to be several organised tours in the hotel at once, it was Christmas market time of course! With so many people in the room at one time it was a bit stressful. We found the hotel staff friendly and helpful. This is a good place to stay for a city break to Prague.
All fine, friendly staff. Good food and super location in the centre of Prague. We would like to recommend this hotel to all other visitors of Prague. There is also a beautiful museum of Meissen porcelain close to the hotel.
Really good hotel and near to everything, the old town, primark and many other shops and clubs. The breakfast was good also. And the staff was more than wonderful. They helped us change rooms even tho it was 28 of DECEMBER which was a full booked hotel.
This hotel is tucked away from the busy main streets of Prague old town so it is quieter yet just a corner away from the central less than a 3 mins walk. To the Charles Bridge would be about 15 mins stroll and it is lovely just to discover more about the city by walking. The hotel hardware is evident in its quality. You can tell the owner splurged on the marble floors, columns and in the bathrooms ( public areas). In the rooms the internal doors are solid heavy-ish types ( not flimsy rubbish in most modern hotels) and sound proofing is good so I don't hear screaming children or adults. I had very good sleep in this hotel and that is important. This hotel is not a new modern type as it is built quite a while ago but the furnishings are very well maintained and you can only tell the age is because of the decor. The breakfast is however disappointing with dry ready made pancakes but the variety is sufficient. I think 3 days of breakfasts will be quite enough. Pity they do not have a live egg station. You can eat breakfasts elsewhere as there are plenty of nice cafes within walking distance. It is a good value for money stay.…
