ww stayed two nights. The staff were cheerful, polite, efficient and most accommodating. Breakfast buffet is superb. Fresh fruit, vegetables, variety of breads etc. excellent quality and plentiful. The rooms were very clean. The hot is ideal from the airport. One bus and one metro line. Walkable from the train station. In the middle of the city. There is a...

Out of 100s of hotels in Prague this one will be clean, have courteous staff and if you're keen then fork out for a deluxe room for an unbeatable view of Peague castle. Only downfall was poor noise insulation in the room, but I'm a light sleeper. Breakfast was adequate and plentiful, try the hotel restaurant (with your discount) for...

I stayed in this hotel for one night on my business trip to Prague. The location is ok, within reasonable walking distance from the Museum subway station. The neighborhood of the hotel is lively, with a large number of restaurants and pubs within a short walk. Even Starbucks, McD and BK are almost next door. The lobby is nice, the...

A 3 night stay booked through JET2.com. This hotel is 10 minutes walk to the Old Town through Wenceslas Square, so the location is good, but not excellent if you want to go the Old Town. The reception staff are efficient without being friendly. Room 211 overlooked the quiet street, it was spacious, very clean and had everything one would...

This hotel served us very well for our 3 night city break sightseeing. Despite arriving after 11pm the Reception was still in full swing and greeted us warmly (we grabbed a late hot meal in the adjoining bar ‘Rodeo Oldies’ which made great cocktails!). Our room (# 215) faced the front of the hotel entrance which is on a main...

I stayed here for a night recently; check in was very straightforward and the lobby expansive and impressive. Lifts are behind a separate lobby door operated by a key card - so if you are expecting guests you must go downstairs to greet them. My room had an abysmal view - effectively a light well overlooking a roof. Grim. The...

Upon arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff. Room was excellent, slippers and dressing gowns provided. It is situated just off Wenceles Square, so very handed for all sightseeing. Rooms were very warm as heating on all night but this was sorted for us. Breakfast was great, plenty to choose.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
