I stayed here with friends. We had one appartment on the top floor of this hotel with nice view. The hotel location is great, only minutes walk to the Charles Bridge and the castle. Rooms were large enough but quite old fashioned. Beds were ok. Don't expect any luxury in this hotel. The shower in the bathroom didnt work quite...

This is a solid 3-star hotel in a very old building. Located in the middle of the hill near the castle it felt special. Hotel made sure we had taxi waiting at airport. Reception area was a small messy room, but staff was nice. Room had hardwood floor and it was spacious. I was not expecting any luxury items, but...

Just a short walk up the hill to the Castle and a short walk down the hill to St Christopher's church and the Stevan's bridge. Beds are firm, no elevator. Room was clean, water was hot . Bathroom fully updated. Careful of the tap in the shower, just the smallest adjustment can give you extremely hot water. A few small...

We were in Prague, in this small and beauteful hotel. It's in the Nerudova Street, located very close from the Castle and from the Karolo Bridge, both walking. It's and old construction, but with modern facilities. Breakfast is good (at european style), and bedrooms comfortable. It's perfect for couples or lonely travelers, maybe don't for big families. If you want...

The hotel is very clean. The location is very good. The staff is very professional and ready to help. The manager helped me in organizing a tour and sat for about an hour to make sure I am satisfied with my choice. The breakfast is good. Many things to choose from.

We stayed at Aureus Clavis hotel for three nights. I can only recommend this hotel. After reading a few not so good reviews about hotel I was a bit afraid regarding our stay there. But its location in Nerudova street right under the Prague Castle, breakfast and a lovely room with stunning views over Petrin hills made our stay very...

Our stay at Aureus Clavis Hotel was excellent. Tonci (manager) was very helpful and the room was spacious and clean. Everyday we were provided clean towels and beds were very comfortable. The only issue we had was the shower water temperature. It would fluctuate from very hot to very cold. It was a minor issue that we adjusted to rather...

We stayed at the hotel for one night. The best thing about the hotel is its location - directly under Prague Castle. A two bedroom suite worked out to a wonderful price. Our group consisted of three adults and one infant. We were more than comfortable. A few shortfalls: Very poor parking conditions around the hotel. WiFi didn't work. Breakfast...

This is a very 3rd rate place - basic and acceptable only if you are looking for that kind of thing. We were booked into it not by choice but thru a last minute cancellation of a B and B. Never would have chosen to stay there. No reception ( a buzzer that calls a nice waiter from their bar),...

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighbourhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
