Even though this pension is just a short way out of the city centre it provides realy calm and quiet place to sleep over. Rooms are basic but clean and big enough to feel comfortable. Personel is also very helpful. We arrived at the time when non of the stuff was present so we called owner and they opened somehow...

What other hotel brings your breakfast to your room at the time you request it? It's not room service, just a regular service. Over the weekend we chose Pension Na Starem Brne for our base of operations in our quest to see what the second largest city in the Czech Republic, Brno had to offer. The location was perfect, around...

If, like us, you like to stay away somewhere a bit away from the city centre, this is a good choice. It's tucked away behind Mendel's monastery (and round the corner from the Strarobrno brewery), about 10 minutes uphill to the castle and 15 minutes into town. The rooms are quite small but clean and comfortable. We took advantage of...

Brno, basically, is a very intense city with awesome czech pubs and clubs that can't be found in other countries (maybe in Poland? Still didn't check that)... of course the way the city is seen and lived also depends on the traveller's attitude. Anyway, I like to discover the city, participate to its life as much as it's possible; and...

Very simple but comfortable pension (B&B) close to wonderful beer pubs just around the corner and center of Brno. Great wine cellar just next door. Get the breakfast-home made! Remember to visit the cathedral and the castle.

The location is terrific being next to Mendlova Square and the Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady. There is a major tram interchange only 100 metres away and it is only a short tram ride to the city centre. We walked it one day in about 15 minutes. Even better is that the Pension is right next to the...

Pension Na Starem Brne has a family feeling. It is located in an old monastery, beside a beautiful basilica. The hotel is a five minute walk from the downtown area. Also there is a tram hub very close to the pension, so access to transportation around the city is conveniently near the hotel. For beer lovers, the Starobrno brewery is...

We had a very nice family stay at the Pension - it is just by the church in the middle of Brno, very close to the castle and mendlovo namesti. The room was clean and comfortable, very quiet. The sleep quality was very high, we had really got a good rest there. Also, there is a wonderful restaurant nearby -...

“I'm not sure if they have rooms on the south side - I just have a feeling that they have. :I Anyway, if you need complete silence, rooms on the south side are a better choice. Rooms on the north side directly look to the restaurant's garden terrace thus the talk and chattering of the resto guests, or the background music can be bothering.”
