Great quiet location just around the corner from the main riverside and within easy walking distance to most sights and restaurants without the crowds.. Comfortable clean and well renovated. Good breakfast in the cellar restaurant. Helpful and professional staff. Would recommend this hotel for good value for money.

Very nice and modern new hotel close to old town centrum. We got a spacious and very nice room with the king size bed. Room was very clean. Breakfast was very good as well as service. Only minus was the placement of tv on the side wall viewed from the bed.

Good quality, modern hotel within a short walk of the old town and the key sights of gdansk. THe room was clean and comfortable with a great walk-in shower. ALL the staff were friendly and helpful. WE'd stay again.

I booked here well in advance (late last winter) based on a 4-star rating. It shouldn't even be one star. Complaints: the air conditioning in our room wasn't working and no amount of pleading with the front desk could convince them. Our room was not within the main part of the hotel but outside an interior security door and off...

Lovely hotel in great location with friendly reception staff. We went the first week in October and was quite cold and rainy, our room still had the air con on with nothing to turn this off, phoned reception and was told heating doesn't come on yet as it isn't cold enough! They fixed the problem straight away by covering up...

Modern standards - room had everything required although the bed may be a little hard for some people's liking. Friendly, helpful staff. Good buffet selection at breakfast. Very reasonably priced. About 100m walk takes you to the riverside along which it is an easy walk into town (approx 15 mins).

I stayed here four nights in September with my mother. The hotel was great, it's location is practical, just a short walk from Old Town (about 10 mins). There is still construction on neighboring properties, so some mornings were a little noisy. Obviously that's not the hotels fault, just a heads up. We stayed on the top floor (4th), the...

Very nice hotel. Renovated old building and very modern rooms. Excellent buffet breakfast and very friendly service. Close to everything. Walking distance to all major Old Town attractions. Allow longer time when you order food in the hotel restaurant.

Arrived for a two night stay and greeted with a smile and warm welcome. Our room wasn't ready but they offered to take our bags and would take them up to the room once it was ready(which they did). The receptionist was helpful with sightseeing options and gave us a map. Our room was very spacious and clean. Comfortable bed...

Grand cru is situated close to the old city of Gdansk, shops, the harbour and so on. Cozy hotel with very friendly staff and ok rooms. The breakfast was amazing but e.g lunch was honestly not good at all. We used their conference room which was great with nice coffe breaks. Overall a good hotel.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The location of Grand Cru Hotel, in the antique Old Town, on Rycerska Street, allows to live to the full the unique atmosphere of Gdansk. Only a few steps divide our hotel from Motlawa river and finest monuments of the city, such as St. Mary's Church, the Crane, Neptune’s Fountain, Artus Court or Uphagen House. An evening walk along the Long Bridge and the alleys over which rise the fascinating pearls of architecture, ended with a dinner and a glass of excellent wine in Grand Cru Restaurant, will be a great accomplishment of each day spent in the Tri-city. ... more   less
