We visited for New Year and I was blown away by this small and friendly hotel. Firstly the location is superb for exploring all the attractions of the old town. The hotel is slightly old fashioned in decor and I liked that. The room was excellent - a whole apartment with a balcony, and enough basic kitchen facilities to ensure...

Very nice, with kind people. Very good breakfast and "tea time treats". This is more of the condo/apartment like rentals then your typical hotel rooms. You are in the middle of the Old Town, close to all attractions. Price is also fair.

Loved staying at Dom Aktora! Was here for 3 nights during my 2 weeks trip to Poland last month and I absolutely loved Gdansk. The hotel had a very homey feel, it's tucked away on a quiet street but close enough to the main sights on foot. We had a 2 bedroom apt on the top (4th) floor - apt...

Basically this used to be apartment house, and now it's called a hotel. We got a two bedroom apartment which looked exactly like most Polish flats in mid-1980's. Same uneven parquet, same old-school phone probably remembering Graham Bell's era; just like visiting my auntie in my much younger years. The whole building would do with major refurbishment. No lift, which...

Located in quiet street only yards from riverside, but close enough to other sights in the Old Town. Large apartment (room 4) on second floor, with large bedroom/sitting room with small balcony, small kitchen area with kettle, hob, sink and plenty utensils, toilet/shower room and entrance area. Absolutely zero noise at night. Not the most up to date decor, but...

Dom Aktora is well situated in an older house in the old Town of Gdansk. Our room was quite large with very good beds and a nice bath-room. The rest of the furnishing was basic , but very practical. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and a nice detail was the daily offering of free coffee and cookies.we enjoyed...
