Just back from a 3 night stay with family. We arrived early hours of the morning and the young lady on reception was very welcoming and helpful. Our room (305) was lovely and roomy, next door was slightly smaller and our third room (307) was very small indeed. All rooms were clean and we had no faults with them at...

The hotel gives a flavour of being a music student in Gdansk, as it is located in one of the buildings of the music academy - with its academic halls and indeed the sounds of classical music from nearby buildings, which are now used for concert halls and music schools. The breakfast was excellent – don’t forget the have an...

I stayed at Dom Muzyka in central Gdansk for one night after a wedding in Poland. The hotel is very good value for money and is only a short walk of around 10 minutes to the centre of the old town. The the surrounding buildings used to be military hospitals but are now used for concert halls and music schools....

The hotel is situated in the old building of the Gdansk music academy - now obviously re-purposed - with its halls and facade still retaining a distinctive sense of academic dignity. True to its name, its ambience is supplemented by jazzy tunes in the lounge / restaurant areas - which gets extra points from me. Helpful and welcoming staff, free...

First impression was not good, as the girl in the reception didn't even look at us when we walked in. As if she'd prefer not to talk to us. After some awkward silence and her ignoring our presence, we asked if we could please check in. She was not friendly at all. The other girls for the rest of our...

I asked for a quiet room and it was lovely, I had a single but it was spacious and had a kettle and free WiFi which worked well. Also had a fridge. Very good breakfast, staff helpful at reception. Hotel is in a quiet area although some rooms were close to a busy road at the side, convenient for walking...
