I travel a lot and have stayed in many hotels of varied quality but I was really disappointed with the Polonia. The hotel is in a building dating from 1917 and despite ongoing refurbishment it shows. There was a heatwave in Krakow while I was visiting and unfortunately the rooms don't have aircon. the hotel provide a fan which is... More

good location - very close to old town, but it's near big Street and it's a tram root. during all day and till late at night there is noise from trams; another unpleasant thing is missing of air-conditioning; the window need to be open and noise is inside; helpfull reception staff; no minibar; no room service;

A very well kept older Hotel modernised but has kept its old world charm. Exceptional clean throughout. Staff friendly & helpful.Excellent choice at breakfast. Rooms are airy & bright. Great location on the edge of old town beside main Train/ Bus station. All amenities you would need are close by.

My husband and I stayed here last autumnon a visit to Poland. The location is very central just across from the railway station and the galleria. It is also a short walk from the planty and the old town. Built in 1917 this is a budget hotel; our room was a bit faded with mismatched furniture and old floors, but... More

Quick to check in and porter took luggage up to room on 3rd floor via the lift. Large double room (81) with ample space and large bathroom with shower at back of hotel so quite quiet at night. Room clean and tidy with free water each day. Kettle provided but strangely no cups or tea/coffee/milk (went and bought this from... More

Travelling with an Intrepid group, we arrived early in morning and the hotel let us have our rooms early which was wonderful. Great rooms, comfy beds. Breakfast very good. Friendly staff. Recommend staying here.

The food was nice. The location great but the atmosphere inside the resto could still improve. Fairly easy to find and only a short walk o the main square and the mall and the train station. Nice place.

This is a budget hotel that is located just outside the old walled town of Krakow. We seemed to be in a section of the hotel that needed to be accessed externally to the main reception area (approx 50 metres up the street). We had a room at the back which was quiet (however, a closet outside our room door... More

Located very handily from the main railway station this hotel is easy to find and also a short walk through the park to the main square. The rooms are dated but appear to be in the process of an upgrade, however mine did not have AC and was very hot in summer, it appears the new AC had not yet... More
