Hotel is lovely especially the exterior but inside it is rather outdated. I was only here for one night so it was ok, not one of my first choices but it was already booked by a Polish friend so for one night it was ok.

My view is very similar to that of others. The location was ideal as we were travelling by train, arriving late evening and leaving mid morning next day. The station is an easy 5 minute walk away. The hotel has some great decorative features from a bygone era. However, it appears to have been caught in a time warp and... More

Stay away from this hotel. Service is awful. Stuff is unfriendly and from their faces you could say they hate their jobs and tourists. We stayed at Polonia for 2 nights may 10-may11, 2013. We chose the hotel because it was very close to a train station – just 5 -10 min walking distance. We arrived early around 7 am... More

I stayed here for 3 nights, and really enjoyed it here. The positives: a) stone's throw from krakow central station, and across the road from the galleria - good shopping options here. b) Nice big room and bathroom c) Good and reasonable restaurant, I recommend the house wine as well. Negatives: a) The hotel is old, and the carpets need... More

I am sure that such hotel can't have 3 stars. It's doors don't ensure the sound isolation of your room. And you will hear every step and every whisper in the hall. In addition to squeaking of floor in yhe hall it was an extraordinary pleasure. Same situation with windows. Also the furnishings were clean but very old with some... More

Nothing special, just a normal hotel, but the location is EXCELLENT close to train station and to to the city center and to everything you need. Staff was quite good. Interior is beautiful and rooms are clean.

If you are on a budget and don't mind the possibility of a bad night's sleep this is the place for you. Renovation works from 7am to 9pm mean constant noise early in the morning and into the night. Our room was nice apart from the broken shower door and a plug hole full of (someone else's) hair. Icing on... More

My partner and myself stayed here Feb 23rd to Feb 26th 2013, hotel dated and need of modernisation but maybe the owners prefer this type of 'charm' ? Excellent location, just across the square from the railway station and five mins walk to the main square, we had bed and breakfast only, food was more or less the same each... More

When entering through to front door, you may feel the atmosphere of an old, classic hotel. Four meters to the ceiling, wooden floors, wallpaper and tapestry. You may even smell the atmosphere here and there.. The rooms (at least on 1st floor) are relatively newly renovated including the bathrooms, even though a bit minimalistic when it comes to bathroom furniture... More
