I was a little worried as this hotel was much cheaper than any others I had seen when booking my hotel. The hotel is perfectly situated in Krakow. An easy walk to the main train station and Florian's gate is right at the other end...More

Hi. The hotel is within easy walking distance from the town square, about 10 to 15 bminutes past the Barbican and along Florianska street. The hotel is located just on the other side of the main road which surrounds the old city and the "park" around the old walls known as the Planty. It is also very close to the new shopping Mall called "Galeria Krakow".
We have been to the Auschwitz/Birkenau site, To be honest, we were so upset by it that we only managed to do the morning visit around the old army baracks which was the original camp. It is a museum and memorial, but it is not a fun day out, so be prepared for the emotions that you will experience when you see the "exhibits" and realise just what happened there. You might find a trip to the Wieliczka salt mines much more rewarding and enjoyable.
