The hotel is near the castle, across from the river, near the Jewish quarter and 10 minutes walk into the centre of Krakow. It's comfortable, warm, functional and clean. If you want somewhere at a reasonable cost, away from the hustle and bustle of the centre, then this is OK. I'm sure there are many more similar, but nothing stands...

This hotel is ideally situated next to Wawel Castle and the Wisla River. It is around a 15 minute stroll to the main square and walking distance to the Jewish Quarter in Kazimierz District. The rooms are very clean and are well supplied with, coffee, tea, water (both still and sparkling), also a hair dryer and toiletries, unfortunately there was...

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights on a city break in December 2016. Although the temperatures outside were well below zero most of the time the hotel was always comfortably warm without being overly stuffy. Breakfasts were the usual continental affair with always three hot choices available - usually scrambled egg, potato cakes and sausages or frankfurters. Plenty...

Stayed here for 3 nights. Lovely clean hotel and friendly staff. Lovely location by the river. It's about a 15 min walk to the square. Breakfast is a continental style cheeses, cold meats, eggs and fruit. The bar was nice but closed at 11 which was disappointing. In all we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it no problem.

The Pod Wawelem was exactly what I needed for my trip. It’s located next to the Castle on the River Vistular with some brilliant views from the rooftop bar and restaurant. The main square is only a 10 minute walk away or a £4 taxi ride if that’s what you rather. My room was plenty big enough, with a very...

Excellent value for money with a great buffet breakfast included in the price. Great location beside the castle and within a ten minute walk to the main square. Staff very helpful and the facilities were great. Small problem at times with the wifi but still better than most hotels.

I picked this hotel largely due to the good location in relation to the Christmas Markets (my reason for visiting Krakow) and other tourist attractions as well as the view. It is about 10mins walk away from the main market square (Rynek Glowny). It has a fantastic view of Wawel Royal Castle and the Vistula River especially from the rooftop...
