Excellent hotel ,room was clean and comfy nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were very friendly, we asked for extra coat hangers and an iron which they sorted out in no time at all . Breakfast was fabulous good variety , we ate lunch there on our first day which was lovely ,they also give you a complimentary drink s voucher on arrival to use at the bar or restaurant, can highly recommend this hotel,we would definitely go back and stay there.
Very comfortable hotel conveniently situated in the old Jewish quarter of the city. It was just a 13 minute walk to the main market square in the centre of Krakow old town. Room was warm and comfortable with lovely en suite shower . There is a nice restaurant where we were had an extensive range of breakfast food to choose from, both cooked and continental. We didn't eat any lunch or evening meals there as we wanted to sample the numerous bijoux bars, cafes and restaraunts that were within a short walking distances from the hotel. However the lunch and evening menu on offer at the hotel seemed very reasonable. The hotel has a cosy bar. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. The hotel is very good value for money in an ideal location.
I would like to say a huge thank you to the team at Spatz Hotel for the most amazing stay there. They were so friendly and helpful. The room was great and the breakfasts were amazing. A couple of times, we asked for things. Within 5 minutes, someone was at our door with what we had asked for. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. I am really looking forward to returning with my children so that they too can have this wonderful hotel experience
I stayed here for four nights the week before Christmas. On arrival I was greeted by the lovely Natalia who helped me deal with a dishonest taxi driver who was trying to charge me an extortionate fare. He promptly left following Natalia’s intervention. I arrived very late at 1.00am, on arrival the front door was closed but not locked. I was really well looked after by the reception staff and the restaurant staff. They really are wonderful and kind. My room was number 21 on the top floor, there is no lift so this could be an issue for some people. There is a bellboy to help with luggage but late at night I had to take my case up myself. My room was small but very clean and fresh, there is a tv but only sky news in English. There is shower gel in the bathroom and hand soap, towels provided and changed if requested. I had no safe but I could keep my belongings securely in the hotel safe and access as and when required. I ate breakfast and evening meals in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Breakfast was an all you can eat Buffett. There is a separate area to order scrambled eggs and fruit juices, coffee, salad, fresh fruit, breads, croissants are provided etc. I had two evening meals here, chicken burger and chicken penne pasta. The food was outstanding and I highly recommend eating in here. It was reasonably priced as well. The hotel provides a complementary free drink voucher to use in the hotel bar. I do have to agree with the other reviews that the girl behind the bar is not at all welcoming or friendly which is a shame as I’m sure the hotel is losing custom due to the negative atmosphere. The hotel is set in the Jewish quarter with an amazing array of restaurants on the doorstep. I got some really good food from Plac Nowy behind the hotel. I highly recommend staying at the Spatz Aparthotel. On my last day I was offered a later check out for free until 12pm but I decided to pay for an extra night so I could have my room until my late departure.…
We were sent from our hotel to have breakfast here - the staff were lovely and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The choices were fantastic and beautifully laid out. Everything from fruit, cheeses, hams, hot food, eggs cooked to order, many breads, croissants, pastries and cakes. Couldnt be bettered. Also as much tea or coffee as you wanted. A good way to begin the day. Also had dinner here one night - very good with some nice Polish specialities. very tasty.
Fabulous hotel friendly staff especially the man who I think may be the manager in bar/restaurant. Rooms clean and comfortable. Perfect location in Jewish quarter where there are lots of bars and restaurants and street food type places. About a 15 minute walk to main square. We would definitely stay here again for both the hotel and it’s location
Stayed here in late November 2022 and had a lovely time. On arrival the staff were helpful and welcoming, recommending things to do and places to see. We stayed in room 6 with the balcony, it was clean throughout and very spacious. Sadly the room didn't have a hairdryer, however we told the receptionist about this, they helpfully provided us with one within 2-3 hours. We didn't eat in the hotel, but did use the bar. Good drink throughout and staff in the bar were very friendly. The hotel is out of the main old town and in the Jewish Quarter. We didn't find this to be an issue though, there's numerous nice bars and resturants very locally (I would recommend Starka resturant and advise booking). Additionally, it's only around 15-20min walk to the main square in the old town and I believe this can be done on trams or taxis. There's also a number of convenient shops very close to the hotel, the 24hr Carrefour nextdoor does fresh bakery items everyday ideal for grabbing lunch for any day trips out of the city. Would recommend the hotel to anyone and would go back there myself.…
Great location for everything, food was very good, service staff at breakfast were lovely and helpful, reception staff lovely and helpful but some other staff seemed a bit moody ,we were told this is because they are working long hours and are tired due to staff shortage, I get this as I work in the same industry, Rooms were basic but clean, but they need to pay attention to the toilet bowls they need a good clean ,lots of brown limeescale, and bathroom fans don't work, It would have been better if there had been a lift in the hotel because getting cases up stairs could be a problem for older people, Overall the hotel is nice and I would stay again
Hi We were here last weekend. Very good location and a very nice reception. We would like to thank you for Max. Your level is much higher than the rest of the service. You are a great manager. You know exactly what the client needs. Thank you for your knowledge and passion for what you do.
Booked for me and my daughter's work. Friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble, really helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Buffet breakfast excellent especially Marina who brightens your morning up with her lovely smile and was so helpful and professional an asset to the hotel. Restaurant food 10/10. Great location in the Jewish quarter. Will definitely return in December.
