Traveling a lot in business I do not expect much from hotels. This place was very positive surprise. Great service, excellent breakfast, wonderfull location, clean, quiet, comfortable. Reasonable price. I wish there are more hotels like this all over the world. :-)

What appears in good taste on the Web-pages, soon shows to be overloaded Kitsch upon arrival - hence the unquestionably partly very nice furniture just does not get the attention it would deserve in a more stylish ambience.

Our room had a spacious balcony facing, I think, north-west (towards the botanical gardens), but I wouldn't know whether the fireworks are in that direction. As the other reviewer suggests, ask the hotel.
