Hotel seems to be directly moved from the beginning of XX century (even music in restaurant is from the same period). It is impressive however room standard is not so satisfactory. Bathroom with shower in the bath on very low Ask for sunny rooms from the street side however those are more noisy. Very good location.

We booked for a city break Friday to Monday, when we arrived the reception was very friendly, our room was very spacious and clean, however as it was at the front of the hotel traffic was a little noisy. The most of the staff were lovely and the breakfast was fit for a king, unfortunately on the sunday night I... More

Spend 2 nights there recently. The Hotel is very dated but this adds to the ambiance and is not put down. The room was very clean and their was plenty of choice at Breakfast. The location is great 10-15 mins from the airport, and a few mins walk from the river and town square. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here for 2 nights, rooms spacious and well maintained. Good selection at breakfast , 5 minutes walk from old town and nice restaurants within 2 minute walk. Staff pleasant and £5 in a taxi from the airport.

A very beautiful old hotel with loads of history that is worth looking in too, very nicely decorated with stunning golden stairway's and classic feature's. A very nice bar and outside drinking area also and very friendly staff. The room was nice and clean and a good size with a very big bed, good shower, a good breeze with the... More

I stayed at the pod orlem during a business trip. The rooms are small but clean, however there is no air conditioning and it's far too noisy to keep your windows open at night. It made for a restless sleep. Bathroom, again clean, but tiny. The shower was barely enough for me to move and I'm only 5"4', 52kg, so... More

I first stayed here 10 years ago with my family. Returning here again I found the service was still excellent and breakfast was brilliant! There's lots of shops nearby as the area has had a lot of investment recently. Highly recommended to anyone staying in Bydgoszcz.

This hotel used by the upper class and officer Corp from Germany, Poland and Russia. As soon as you enter the hotel and ballroom you are taken back in time. The food is filling with a variety to choose from.

The hotel is one of the loveliest i've stayed at.. Loved the old style decor, beautiful staircase. We had single rooms and they were cosy, comfortable, and spotless clean. My room even had a balcony. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and had decent coffee. Location is great, walking distance to all major sights.
