The hotel is basic but clean. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are clean but basic. A rather interesting lift takes you to your floor but it is effective! The real highlight of the hotel is the restaurant which does substantial and well flavoured meals.

We stayed in Hotel Olimpia in June during Euro 2012. The hotel reminds of an old soviet style hotel – dull, drab, musty and seriously overpriced. You would need to be Houdini to open the door – some secret code to open the door! Room was very dated – had not been decorated since late 1950 – quite musty (smelly)....

Hotel is not central, but taxi is cheap in Poznan. It is an old building, and Polish police used it in '60-ies... Rooms are spacius, but poorly furbished. Went there for Euro, and it was terribly overpriced. As other hotels are in same price range during normal periods, when there is no Euro, would reccomend other hotel.
