Best Western hotel Portos is located where two big streets Sobieskiego i Sikorskiego are crossing eachother. It is only 6 km from the hotel to city center where we have maim govenrnment buildings, such like parliament, embassies. It is very easy to get from the hotel to city centrum. You may do that by bus or by taxi. It takes less than 15 minutes. Bus stop is just around the corner on the other site of the Sobieskiego street

The hotel is to the south of central Warsaw. Transfer by coach from Modlin Airport to Warsaw Central takes around 55 minutes. We then got an Uber to the hotel which was around £10. It is accessed by public transport but we used taxis to get about - staff were happy to phone

Not sure but most buses from Modlin go to the city centre and from there it's a short bus trip to the hotel. When you get to the centre use Google Maps to get bus route details and times. Local bus tickets are available from street located machines at bus stops and you can pay for tickets by contactless card.

Hi can anyone recommend how we get to you from the Modlin Airport please
The journey is very doable, as there are several different bus routes you can take from the Modlin Airport, depending on what day on the week it is, and what time you are travelling, etc. You can catch a bus from the Lotnisko Modlin (the airport bus station- there should be signs in the airport to direct you). Then you want to head to Warszawa Centrum- check the timetables, but lots of buses will stop there, including the OK3 going towards Biała Podlaska. Once in Warsaw, you need to catch a bus to Mangalia (01), which is just a two minute walk from the Best Western Hotel. You can catch a bus to here from many different bus stops in the centre of Warsaw- again, check the timetables on the day you are travelling (e.g. the Dw. Centralny 27, which is just 4 minutes' walk from Warszawa Centrum- the 522 bus will take you to Mangalia from here). Once you get to Mangalia 01, the hotel is just across the road. All upcoming stops are announced on the buses, with screens to tell you where the bus will be stopping next, so working out where to get off should be straightforward. It will probably take just over 1 hour and 30 minutes to get there from Modlin. Hope this is helpful, and have a lovely time in Warsaw!

Can you send a taxi for taking us from the airport to the hotel
Dear Ziad, we can order a taxi for you, but it can wait in front of the entrance to the airport just a few minutes. Of course it's possible to take a taxi, which is standing close to the airport. In case, bus 148 will take you to a hotel - our bus stop name is Mangalia. With regards Marta Bogusławska

Hello. The easiest way to get to the hotel would be by taxi. You need to go to the official taxi rank just outside the airport terminal. If you are asked about a taxi inside the terminal say no as you are likely to get charged a lot more money. If you want to get back from the hotel to the airport you need to ask reception to arrange a taxi for you. This will take about 15 minutes to arrive. As you exit the hotel turn immediately left and walk to the end of the building and the taxi will collect you from there. The journey time is about 20 minutes. I was charged between 23 and €26 depending on traffic. I hope that this helps?

What is the nearest metro station to the hotel?
Metro is new to Warsaw. Yet to spread out in the entire city. But the hotel is very well connected by bus and bus travel is the best in Warsaw.
