If you're looking for a small, charming hotel in the beautiful city of Ljubljana, in particular close to the old town; this is the place to go. Not all the usual services that you'd normally receive in large chain-hotels are available, though what you get...More
On positive side friendly and helpful staff and great location. However having spent the past 10 days in 4 star Croatian hotels this place does not measure up. Unimaginative breakfast spread, small bathroom and loose scatter rugs in rooms that are a liability for a...More
We were two couples and so had two rooms. One was very nice and the other not so much. But the personnel were very helpful and pleasant and the lobby was a nice place to gather for a drink before or after dinner. The best...More

The hotel does not provide parking. We rented a car and stayed at the Allegro in September when the weather was nice. There is a parking lot about three blocks after you cross the river (at the corner of Zoisova cesta and Emonska cesta) which always had space for us and felt safe. Ljubljana, in general, feels quite safe so I would not hesitate to stay at the Allegro and park where we did.
