This is a great place to be a tourist in Ljubljana like I was. Restaurants and all sight are close by. The hotel old but very nice. Rooms all seem to be different. Had a single room and nice but bathroom had angled ceiling so I bumped my head a lot. Also TV was at a weird angle making it...

Hotel Allegro met all our needs on all levels. On arrival we telephoned and only minutes later Luka meet us at an entrance to the town and took me with our luggage to the hotel while Nina went with my husband in the car and directed him to the nearby public car park. You cannot drive or park a car...

I came with my mother for a few nights and we loved it! Our hotel staff was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, and always happy to help. We loved the extra attention and help planning day trips we received from front desk attendants Luka and Simone! Our rooms were spacious, very clean, and had a great view of the central courtyard. The...

Spacious bright and airy room, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, fast and reliable Wifi, very friendly and helpful young front desk staff (especially Elliott), great location in the pedestrian-only Old Town, cheap nearby parking (but only two spots-and one is handicapped only), several great restaurants close by (we really liked Julija) and the hotel staff will gladly make recommendations...

We loved the hotel and its furnishings as well as the staff who were extremely helpful and informative. The hotel is on a quiet street where no cars go, and is very convenient to everything....,within walking distance. Our stay here increased the pleasure of our stay in this lovely, friendly city.

Our room (#215) for spacious and nice. The folks at the desk were extremely helpful with dinner reservations and other advise. The location is great - less than ten minute walk to the three bridges. WiFi in the room was free but iffy; you really needed to be in the lobby for reasonable connection. Breakfast was ok but could be...

As a part of a side trip from Luxembourg, we stayed here in late April. What a treat! We're partial to "old town" locations, and this hotel, recommended by others here, couldn't have been a better choice. We could walk to just about everything, and there were also first rate restaurants nearby. As to the building, it dates back to...

stayed here in November for a few days after long day on trains from Budapest. Room was fine, location great and desk staff brilliant. Unfortunately our bed was starting to fall apart and made noise every time you moved. Ended up we had to try and fix as the manager would not be in for a day or two. We...

This hotel is definitely not for business, even if judging only by breakfast. It starts at 08:00. Now more into details: Pros: -Really in the historical center. -The personnel is very friendly and trying to help. Cons: There is no pakring place, the "nearby parking" stated in the hotel discribtion is a public municipal parking 450m. away. Even then, it...

What a fantastic find, obviously helped by being upgraded to a balcony room, thanks Allegro! Both receptionists were fantastic, the gentleman helped with bookings of restaurants and places to go. The room was fantastically decorated, clean , comfortable and most importantly quiet. The only downside if at all was the breakfast. Very limited, sometimes cold and no one around to...
