The hotel is situated in the best location close to the heart of the city and close to the famous Triple Bridge and Ljubljana Castle is only a stone's throw away. What I loved best about the hotel was....the complimentary tea and fruit basket that was available in the teahouse! The rooms are bright and airy with very comfortable beds...

The hotel is located in the historical heart of Ljubljana, which is very nice indeed - a real advantage, althought the city is small and easy to get around in. It is a small, recently done-up hotel, mixing the old and the modern, that describes itself as "boutique". My room was average sized, quiet, and the bed very comfortable. I...

We stayed here for three nights and picked it from tripadvisor but you would maybe miss this hotel on there as it comes under B and Bs and Inns i would think it is more a boutique hotel as it is quite small very stylish and welcoming. The staff were good especially Jovan who was always willing to help and...

We had an excellent 6-night stay at this hotel. Small and characterful, it is centrally located but very peaceful. The staff were helpful and friendly, and we had everything we needed during our stay. The little extras make this hotel what it is, such as the toiletries in the room and snacks available throughout the day. I would definitely recommend...

Just back from our 1 week stay in this delightful hotel which is basically in the best area in our opinion you could stay in Ljubljana. Right near the castle where you can either walk or get the funicular, right near the main shops and bars and restaurants.( We looked at other hotels whilst over and this looked by far...

4 friends and I enjoyed a superb stay at Lesar Hotel Angel in October on our first visit to Ljubljana. The bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size, and were kept impeccably clean throughout our weekend trip. Most importantly, the staff at the hotel were extremely accommodating and welcoming, taking time to talk to us about where to visit, the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
LESAR HOTEL ANGEL was built in the centre of Old Ljubljana and resides in a large medieval house, where tradition and a classic look join the modern trends and approaches of topmost hospitality. Good knowledge of the city's history enabled us to shape the living space in a way that allows our esteemed guests not only to experience a pleasant and serene stay, but also feel first hand the charm of the life led by the old townspeople who once inhabited this place. In this way, we wish to join the old and traditional with the contemporary and modern. The hotel prides itself on its 500 m2 private garden that ascends the slope of the Castle Hill directly underneath the castle tower, from where a marvellous view of Ljubljana and its surroundings may be enjoyed. The garden has an exit to the Cat's Path, one of the popular routes towards the Ljubljana Castle. We wish to offer our guests a luxury stay in a calm leisure or working environment, where they can enjoy gourmet cuisine and spend time in perfect privacy in the very centre of Ljubljana, be it in the premises of the hotel or in the pleasant hotel garden. Due to the location of the old town centre, the hotel is a perfect vantage point for various activities in Ljubljana and its vicinity. ... more   less
