Its a nice and cheap place to stay.I stayed here in Feb 2016.There were two managers who used to work on different days.Of which one named Szilard was a cool person and also funny. He use to talk a lot and knew a lot about Hungary. The other man named Balasz was extremely rude.He had kind of racist behaviour towards me. This place was a little difficult to find, signage wasn't great. Room was cute and everyone there was respectful. The first gentleman we met who worked there was very nice and pleasant. The other gentleman was extremely rude and condescending and made me feel very uncomfortable. Glad we did not interact with him the whole time otherwise I would give...

Spent one night in this hostel. Looks like a family house at the 2nd floor, which gives it a nice atmosphere, but on the other hand makes you lose the main door at the street entrance if you don't pay close attention. Otherwise, nice friendly atmosphere and stuff, fair price, gorgeous position (near a main train station). Recommended.

Loved staying here as there are pretty much no cons whatsoever! It's directly opposite Budapest's main train station, which also connects to the city's metro system. The staff were extremely helpful and chatty. There are facilities to wash clothes (and because we went out while it was running the owner even hung ours out to dry for us, very kind!)...

The hostel is small but has everything you need. There are two showers and toilets which were both pretty clean at all times. The kitchen is also small but again it doesn't need to be any bigger. As it's so small there is just 1 member of staff there most of the time, we met 2 male staff members and...

This hostel has the most unique, unorthodox decorating I've ever seen. Im not even sure how to describe the atmosphere of this place. In the common/reception area park benches are used as seating. You will find some mannequins around too. One in the bathroom (which quite frankly scared the bejesus out of me) and one in the hallway all dressed up....

We were expecting to stay in a hostel room, but we were taken to a great little apartment of our own within walking distance of the train station - bonus! Learn how to say "good day" & "thank you" in Hungarian and you'll get on well :)

Very clean and cozy, with comfy beds and very hot water ! Close to the Keleti train station and metro it has a excellent position if you are a first time traveler in Budapest. The friendly host and free maps helped us find our way into the main attractions of the town easy.

“The bunk rooms are quieter and cheaper. Don't get your hand caught in the front door. It can really hurt. Be sure to pronounce Budapest correctly.”
