The reception staff were very informative and friendly. They always had a smile for the guests and provided lots of information when checking in. Thank you for being very kind and professional. The hotel is being renovated and this is a good thing. The rooms are clean and well supplied. The bathroom is separated from the bedroom by frosted glass...

this was my first visit to Budapest and I will be back! the hotel in the heart of the jewish quarter was ideal in location, price and service. Positives: Taxi: must book via hotel, £20 30 minutes door to door, heard horrendous stories of people being ripped of up to £70 for same journey not thru hotel? Hotel: location, easy...

We looked for a relatively cheap long weekend away - 3 nights. Flew from Stansted. Interesting doing our own bar code sticky labels on our case with Ryanair. Our Travel Counsellor suggested Budapest - and we weren`t disappointed! Transfers were pre booked and worked well - it`s a 35/40 minute transfer into the City. the Hotel is central and you...

Nice hotel. Nice location. Our Room size was very small it remained me. NY style hotel, but we are in Budapest so it shouldn't be that small. Shower had clear glass to the which was not cool, even with couples this is not something you want to have constantly. The hotel has one elevator. The halls are tiny as well....

We spent 3 nights in the Soho Butique Hotel. The only complaint is something that is mentioned on a couple of previous reviews. The room was too hot and the air conditioning blew out hot air. Opening the window and closing the radiator vavle solved that. The room was small as mentioned by the manager on his replies. This was...

This is a great hotel in a superb location. The desk staff are lovely and quickly fixed it when we didnt have fresh towels. Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
