I have traveled for business a lot. I recommend, really competing major hotel chains !! Brand new bathroom, clean (no salt trace windows, taps) comfortable bed with lid. Reliable products in the bathroom. He had many more amenities than I expected! Staff excellent, courteous and service! Go on like this!!! Congratulations

This hotel was great, rooms were decent size and well maintained and location is good for being on the buda side, a few minute walk to St Matthias church, fishermans bastion, buda castle etc. Also is about 5 minute walk to nearby metro station and two stops in from that station is the central station, very convenient to get anywhere...

We have been staying here at the end of November 2016 and we have a sorrowful and terrible experience here. We check-in the hotel around 10:15 p.m., we are very hungry and we checked with the front desk staff whether we can eat or order something in their restaurant but was told there was a party holding there and after...

Very helpfull and kind staff, clean, comfortable room, great location, very quiet area. I was in this Hotel second time and I will certainly come back in future. Short walk to the Buda castle and to the Széll Kálmán tér (metro, tram, bus). Restaurant was also great, with 15% discount for hotel guests

Had a very comfortable, clean room. Staff were very helpful and their English was perfect. Only a short walk to get great pictures overlooking Budapest. Also a short walk to Metro station - but it was a fairly steep climb back up the hill as hotel sits on top of a hill (hence the great views). I would certainly stay...

We came here in middle of January and there was snow and ice on the floor, so you would need to move with a taxi from the location. Otherwise super price great rooms and very nice breakfast. Staff is ok but better check out during the morning, then in the evening.

A recent 4 night stay showed the good and bad, with very little mediocre. +++ Great location, which has good transport links once found. Rooms were clean, and of a fairly good size. Good view from 2nd floor. Generally quiet location & warm, comfortable environment. Some staff were exceptionally helpful --- Breakfast was very poor, get in early if you...

This is an average hotel in a great location next to the castle grounds. Comfy but basic (my room did have a fantastic tub). The location cannot be beat. Walk out the hotel turn left walk a block and enter the castle grounds. Or just a few blocks down the hill to the metro. The down side for this hotel...

This was our second stay. The Hotel is in the castle area which is beautiful but also easy to access the centre. Lovely and quiet even at New year. Rooms are clean and comfortable, lots of hot water for a bath or shower but the shower did spray all over the floor. A wider screen would help but so quick...

Staying in District I / Buda

Neighbourhood Profile
District I / Buda
The historical center to a city with a multifarious and intricate past, Buda has some of the most outstanding buildings in Europe and an enviable natural landscape with stunning views onto the Danube. Centered around the Royal Palace, it provides a glimpse into the golden years of the Austro-Hungarian empire and the lives led by the aristocracy at the time. Matthias Church, beside the palace, hosted many events attended by the royal family and was the chosen place for the coronation of Franz Josef, one of the Hungarian Habsburg kings. Having admired the palace and the church, a visit to Buda will be unforgettable by the stunning and memorable panorama over Pest offered by the seven towered Fishermen’s Bastion.
