We loved to stay there over New Year (and still was kind of cheap compared with overs). Very helpful & friendly staff, great central location (but not noisy). Breakfast was good but a little too basic - but hey! it's for free :) Also free coffee/tea 24/7! conclusion: awesome! Would love to stay there again PS: payments preferred in Euro,...

Nice, clean and friendly hostel located just north of the city centre. A nice walk into town or there are plenty of buses nearby and a metro station just across the road. Good big rooms - our group had two rooms to ourselves.

Hostel is located in the heart of the city with an easy reach of all the important things in Budapest. Staff was very nice and helpful. We got a room with huge kitchen just for two of us, which we didnt really need but in case of a longer trip can be very helpful. There is coffee and tea available...

My stay at Boomerang was very cool. I was there with my sister in the first days of october 2013 and everything went very well. Our room was big and comfortable. We had a kitchen with breakfast included in the morning (which will always be a very big plus) and besides there was free tea and coffee all day long....

I stayed here with my boyfriend for 4 days in August, 2011, and everything went all right. The room (more like an apartment) was big, there was a kitchen (which made us save money with meals!), a double bed (not too comfortable, but ok!) and a lot of space for us to leave the luggage and our stuff. The staff...

Boomerang is a great place to stay in Budapest, there are great transport links to all of the city. The staff are friendly as well as the guests. The showers could have been a little cleaner but you can't expect much more for the price. They staff were on the ball, knew a lot about the city and booked museums...

They have a young, nice staff, very helpful. Excellent location in the downtown. Refrigerator accessible, kitchen for the breakfast. The only small disadvantage was, they do no accept the cards? only cash, but you can pay in EUR with the mormal exch.rate. Generally, basic, but really enoguh for the short visit - good value for money.

I've been at this property for 3 nights, I can consider it a great place super cheap and central. As I have said the location is great, right next to an underground subway "Metro Arany Janos utca", and from there thanks to it you can get anywhere in the city and 10 minutes walk away from the parliament. The hostel...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
