I liked everything here but details. The location is awesome, one couldn't expect any better. One hundred meters from the famous Váci utca and two hundred meters from the river bank. This means it's possible to walk anywhere from the hostel with minimal effort. Plus, the street itself, being a side street is quiet and by night the guests will...

Location: Central Breakfast: Free Rooms: Big enough however the floors creak so if you are an early riser the thought of walking would make you uncomfortable as the floors make a lot of noise. Staff: Super friendly and Helpful Overall: Comfy, Homey, Pocket-friendly and I love that at breakfast we get a chance to mingle and giggle with the other...

The hostel is very close to city center and main monuments, whether you want to walk or go by underground (there is a station close by). We stayed in an apartment which was clean and had a confortable bed. It was always warm and had great wifi. The receptionists were super nice. Breakfast is not really worth it. Great value...

Previous reviews are true, it is hard to find but it didn't take long to google the phone number and get directions from the hostel itself - phone directions were confusing, there is the tiniest sign stuck on a huge wooden door down a side road, literally a small poster. A neon sign would easily solve this problem. Apart from...

Okay so on my first night there just a while after checking in I found bedbugs and I told the receptionists. They were very helpful in offering me other solutions and in the end a refund when I decided to leave. Bedbugs can happen anywhere and had I read the reviews both on Tripadvisor and on other websites I could...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
