It's rated a 4 star hotel - I would have to strongly disagree with this. 3 star at best. Tiny but clean rooms. Confusing TV system - I didn't bother. WiFi in the room? Absolutely - in the bathroom because the WiFi strength was too weak in the rest of the room. The door needed to be refitted, it was...

Stayed at the Marmara ,for four nights 25th August to the 29th August with breakfast included, this is my fourth time staying in Budapest and me and my friends thought we would try a different area ,the hotel is very clean and tidy ,rooms are pretty spacious and there's enough storage space, rooms also have a safe, the reception and bar area are...

the Hotel location is perfect for moving around. Parliament is about 10 minutes walk, most of the other things to see are about 20 minutes walk or you can take a tram which takes 5 minutes. Tram station is about 5 minutes walk. The views from the hotel are not great, breakfast can be better. Wifi and safe are free...

I liked the staff, the rooms (except for the very dim lights), the breakfast and the location. Unfortunately I do not think there are any options for rooms with a good view, but the location makes up for it.

Just back from a 3 night stay here. Staff polite , friendly & helpful. The hotel is ideally situated it's central but on a side road away from all the traffic noise. Our room on the 5th floor was clean and comfortable no view other than the other hotel rooms across. Strange in the rooms there are kettles & cups...

The hotel brands itself as boutique design hotel in the center of Budapest. While the location is great, the hotel itself feels dated and very basic. Slow WIFI in the room made it all but impossible to log on and get a little work done. Room was small but suitable for couple of nights business trip. Breakfast buffet also left...

Lovely hotel however it's as if they've spent some money on making it looks like a classy boutique hotel without the treatment of being one, staff on reception were helpful and friendly, however the staff on breakfast were rude, foul faced and not even in uniform! One morning the boy taking room numbers has a tracksuit and trainers on, and...

The hotel crew is grate. Allwasy ready to help. The rooms are a bit dark( need more light). Good location very close to every thing. The rooms are very welcoming and the food is good. The showers are big and nice looking.

Stay here for three nights with a spouse and relatives. Three major sights are within a reasonable walking distance. . We had a great time. Location is perfect. Everyone was helpful and attentive. Clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is included in price and is more than sufficient. I could easily stay there again.

Thank Lenka M

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
