An otherwise great breakfast with lots of choice spoiled by the hot food not being hot and only cold plates available. Could not find fault with anything else - great location, friendly and efficient staff, clean, modern and bright. Definitely recommend it.

The good points; - Great location - Nice staff - extremely helpful on the front desk - Nice and modern - very clean The not so good points; - The air conditioning would NOT cool the room (2 rooms tried) - The above meant that the windows needed to be opened thus hearing the end of many a drunken night!...

My girlfriend and I recently spent a night at this hotel following an unfortunate stint in A & E with my girlfriend having fractured her coccyx. The hotel staff were very accommodating at all times; extending their breakfast serving hours for us and then allowing an extra two hours stay free of charge so that my gf could rest whilst...

Budapest was the last stop on a rather short trip, and this hotel seemed too good to be true for the price. We paid about 45 euros per night, including WiFi, but not including breakfast. It was a steal. We arrived by train, and the hotel is two stops away by metro (stop Astoria). It is within walking distance of...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
