this hotel is in the centre of budapest ,its only 5mins walk from the main metro and bus hub for budapest,we stayed here for 6 nights and found the staff very helpful and the hotel has a good level of cleanliness, we would have given it an excellent review if it hadnt been for a chipped and cracked sink in... My husband and I stayed here 3 nights while in Budapest. We arrived from our train after dark so it was a little sketchy coming in when we didn't really know for sure where we were going since the hotel is off the street on the 3rd floor of a building. But after that, our stay was great. The hotel... More

I have seen many hotels and hostels in my life as a tour guide, and I can say this is one of the best ones ever. We stayed here unfortunately only 1 night with my kind Japanese friends, but enjoyed it a lot! The staff was especially friendly all the time, the room was big and clean and equipped with... More

The hotel is very good value and in an excellent location. We stayed in the deluxe room and had a microwave and a kitchenette which came very handy. The rooms are spacious and they have all the basics. The reception staff all seem very helpful and nice. Just as a warning for future guests, the hotel only provides hand soaps... More

Stayed here for a week during my business trip to BP. Sketchy entrance, rooms were awesome. Quiet, clean, spacious. Will stay again. The single beds weren't that great, but they were ok. Cable tv was ok, but not great. Great shower. Looked pretty new and was very clean.

This place was great. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. room 8 is by the laundry room, so if u have problems with noise watch out. Most room windows appear to open to a central area rather than the street, so its very quite, there are single family homes in the same building, and at... More

The Building look a bit 'antique' but the interior of the hotel (the whole 3rd floor) was nice and cosy Cleanliness: Yes Quietness: Yes, double glaze window. Sleep Quality:... More

Nice hotel in the city center, close to the Danube and next to the Astoria metro station. Rooms are clean and comfortable, you can even get a jacuzzi in the bathroom :-) And most important, the staff is very helpful, kind and smiling.

Aside from the unwelcoming entrance, this is a perfectly nice hotel. Breakfast at the cafe could be better, though.

Nice location in the heart of Budapest on the 3rd floor of a building from the 19th. Great staff with 24h reception. large and quiet room with all the comfort you can find in a common 3 stars hotel. Unfortunately, the building in which the mini hotel is located needs renovation. It looks like going back to past. That's also... More

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
