A good deal if you want to go for a citytrip to Budapest. 10-15 minutes walking to the river but located between great bars and restaurants. The staff is not as friendly and smiling as you could expect from a nice hotel but the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast gets too busy over the weekends, the personnel cannot follow...

Really impressed with this hotel. Starting with the location, the hotel is a few minutes stumble from one of the most famous ruin bars in Budapest, although the hotel isn't in the nicest district at night, it is right on the edge and is a quick walk or cheap taxi to the very centre of Budapest. The lobby of the...

I just stayed here for 3 nights on business. It was 75 degrees outside and they hadn't turned the AC on. The front desk recommended turning off the fan and opening the windows. The beds were low to ground and all of the pillows were huge. My room was small. For an American that visits Budapest a lot on business,...

A great city hotel, moderately priced, with welcoming staff and great facilities. A lovely restaurant with great breakfast choice. The hotel is close to restaurants, cafes etc., also bus and an underground station which were easy to use and will also take you to the Buda side of Budapest. As it is a fairly small city it is easy to...

Really friendly staff and great service. 10 minutes walk from the centre of Pest and the bars and shops are all around that area. Couldn't find fault with any of it. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Truely outstanding hotel which is in a great location and only a 10 minute stroll to the Danube. The architecture of this hotel is amazing, you will be stunned the first moment you walk through the doors. We stayed for 4 nights and everything and I do mean everything was absolutely superb, try as I may I just could not...

Great place to stay on a City Break as plenty of restaurants, cafes etc close by including the famous ruin pubs. Easy to walk to the river or into the rest of the city and staff friendly and helpful. Good sized rooms and very well equipped and clean. We did not have the breakfast as this was an extra and...

Really nice hotel and lovely staff, although as a tourist and from the UK the suitcase to your room service was a bit... awkward... do we tip? is that expected? but nevertheless hotel staff were helpful throughout our entire stay. The food from the hotel restaurant was a bit average for a high class establishment.

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
