We stayed 5days and felt relaxed, welcomed and everything was as described in other reviews just grand. We gave the breakfast spread full marks, with loads of fresh food, cheeses, pastries and porridge plus plus... Recommend an inner room for quiet. Staff very helpful with recommendations, directions etc. location great for wandering....Jewish quarter, city, Christmas markets, ruin bars and cafés... More

Personally i found this hotel perfectly located to see all the main attractions in Budapest. At first you feel a little lost but then it kicks in just how easy it is to find places. Me and my fiance walked everywhere and didn't catch any means of transport. Sure we walked alot but it's worth it and the main attractions... More

We just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel and had a fabulous time - the hotel is very grand from the outside and does not disappoint on the inside either, with a beautiful vaulted lobby. Our room was a standard which was not huge but very well appointed, clean and nice decor. We were facing into the... More

Hotel is very good, clean well appointed and all of the staff were very helpful. A five minute walk will get you right to he centre of the city and the restaurant recommended by the lobby staff was very good and quite authentic. Only very minor quibble was that hotel was very warm.

The hotel location is very convenient, a walking distance away from many restaurants and pubs. The metro station is located near by and it provides an excellent connectivity to any other parts of the town and attraction you may be interested in. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff was very helpful. Breakfast is very nice and has... More

The hotel overall was good but they let themselves down over a few items. It was very clean and comfortable. It was an ideal location for visiting the city. However, virtually every time over the 4 days we used the key card to access the room we had to return to the reception to get it corrected and on one... More

Dear Eric494, Thank you very much for your feedback, both of your positive and negative comments. Firstly thank you for your nice comments about the location. Great central location. 5 minutes walk from the Christmas Market. Very clean rooms and bathroom. Delicious breakfast. Helpful staff. We used hotel's in-house chauffeur service to get to the airport. Very comfortable trip and reasonably priced. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the hotel for 4nights at the start of December & we were "wowed" as soon as we entered the building. The reception is stunning with the original revolving door and vaulted glass ceiling. Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
