Dear ellbellepink, I’m very happy that you have so much enjoyed your Valentine's visit to Budapest. You did everything what I would do as a tourist in Budapest with all of my knowledge. You found the best restaurants and as I can read all the major tourist attractions. Thank you for your commandatory words about the hotel. I hope you...

My boyfriend and I stayed here over Valentine's weekend 2015. The hotel is beautiful to look at, especially as they have before and after pictures on screens in the lifts and on their website. We could not fault the staff at all. When it came to booking things for us they were super happy and helpful and would give us...

The place is amazing! Located in the heart of Jewish Budapest. The building was impressively renovated and offers all the commodities you can imagine. The staff is friendly and did everything to make my stay pleasant and comfortable. I loved also the breakfast variety. The only con was the bed.. Too hard for my taste.. But I didn't complain since...

Enjoyed a very pleasant 4 night city break at this Budapest hotel. Within sensible walking distance of the tourist attractions on the Pest side of the river and also of some fine restaurants too. Staff were helpful and polite with a special mention to one of the concierges Eleonora Vincenzi who not only recommended but also took the trouble of...

That staff are very professional and speak perfect English. It's only 15 minute stroll To the city centre but there are plenty of shops around the hotel (including a tesco). I was suprises at...

This hotel came recommended by the company I came to work for in Budapest and it didn't disappoint. My room was just as requested: huge bed, a variety of cushions, windows facing courtyard, bathroom with bathtub and shower, huge range of TV channels (not many British though). Nice toiletries, huge room with wooden floor rather than carpet, coffee making facilities,...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
