I have already stayed in this hotel two times. The building is completely renovated with wonderful interiors and a great restaurant! The rooms I was in were all spacious, clean and well furnished. It is situated between narrow streets that is why sometimes it can be a problem when going by car, however, they have their own parking and we...

Dear Yuliyetta, Thank you very much for your nice review. Your compliments make me especially satisfied since you are a returning guest and you have tried several services in the hotel. Returning means you had nice memories, using the restaurant for example means for me you have enough experience to evaluate our hotel. I hope you will return the third...

Three of us had separate rooms. Two were a little small, but if no consequence. No carpets for ease of cleaning but not an issue. The bar was good and cheap, and the decor was excellent. The reception staff spoke better English than me, and we're very polite. They arranged a taxi to collect us from airport - expensive but...

Dear Nige0505, Thank you for your kind sentences. Whether our staff speaks better English than you I doubt, but it sounds really very complimenting. There are definitely cheaper taxi solutions, but the safety and the comfort is worth for it, I agree. I am very delighted to hear how much you liked our Friday's Hungarian Dinner (and programme). It is...

Lovely city break in Budapest helped along by the very friendly and helpful staff at this hotel. Beautiful building in a very buzzy area. Lots of bars and restaurants near by. Good breakfast and lovely reasonably priced bar. Two smoking areas for those who wished to and also an indoor and outdoor pool to cool down when the heat became...

Dear mikkie888, Thanks for your overall positive review. I agree that the bathroom in the standard rooms is not spacious for two people, but we have three more room categories with more space. I hope you will book a higher category room at your next visit. Best regards,

Situated within walking distance (just) of city centre, station and all sites in Pest. Good breakfast was included in our rate. Average room and bathroom. Nice public areas. Helpful, friendly staff. Very mean with towels, toiletries, coffee etc.

Dear Tony Y, Thanks for your praising words on the helpfullness of the staff. I was happy to hear that you found plugs enoughs for your multi sockets. Well, the so-called bar is a café with limited food options since we have a real restaurant open until 11pm. Best regards,

Visited here for three nights as part of an organised tour. Positives include, lovely public areas, excellent breakfast, very reasonable bar prices. Other challenges were the bar service which was...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
