We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. It was a treat for my 60th birthday. The hotel were able to provide a very nice birthday cake, ordered in advance, that they brought to our table and they put a bottle of bubbly in the room free! We stayed B&B. Rooms exceptionally clean and well appointed. Breakfast great variety of...

Fantastic hotel not he best location. Would definitely pic Prestige for location and staff but pick Zara for facilities. The pool is not heated neither is the jacuzzi or indoor pool. The changing rooms are very minimal and unsafe for younger or elderly people as he floor is slippy. The hotel charged us for a return car to prestige when...

Staff was very friendly. Hotel was conveniently located near neighborhood of Dohany Temple which has a lot of cool small restaurants including a food truck lot and a walking street with lots of activity. Roof top pool was lovely. Recommend having breakfast included - good selection and quality.

(I'd like to give the hotel 3.75 stars, but this isn't an option on TripAdvisor!) In Budapest for a quick weekend of touring, I chose Zara over the Sofitel and Intercontinental based on online descriptions. All were priced similarly, boasted they were close to sites and scenery, and were highly rated. Arriving at night, we weren't able to see much...

Chosen from many options, but we've never regretted. Good room (good extra bed for our small one, by the way), big bathroom. Good underground parking. Opulent buffet breakfast. The hotel is especially good for those who love to move, as it's around 20 min walk to the embankment.

Lovely hotel with helpful staff. We stayed here whilst in Budapest for the Hungarian Grand Prix and thoroughly enjoyed out stay. The hotel arranged for a car to get us to the circuit which going was great. Coming back the driver arranged to meet us but didn't show. We eventually found him but he was picking up someone else so...

In a really good position within easy walking distance of many of the city's highlights, including the Jewish area. The river is also close by. Modern rooms, helpful staff and lovely spa area. Good buffet breakfast although the restaurant can be crowded.

Beautifully decorated, brilliant bar, excellent service and nice location (Ruin bars around the corner!). They didn't have a double room available for the first night of our trip, so they put us in a twin room instead. However they upgraded our room to a deluxe double for the remainder of our stay. The changeover was faultless and caused us no...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
