I'm a bit split in my review here. As the hostel was very cheap! The location was absolutely amazing and the staff (though not speaking my English) was friendly and helpful. Its true, the shared bathrooms might not be the nicest thing in the world, I'd admit it. But come on, for taking a shower etc it's not bad, atleast...

Guesthouse Zrinyi is a lowcost hostel close to the Parliament, Chain Bridge and Deak Ferencter metro station. It is close to nightlife in Budapest, just few meters from Donay river and beautiful promenade. Talking about hostel, it is a typical hostel with shared bathroom. Rooms actually includes only beds, some bedside cabinet and wardrobe. Bathrooms were in a bad condition....

The location of the guesthouse is excellent, 5 minutes walk from St. Stephen´s cathedral, Chain Bridge, Vaci street. Rooms are average with shared bathroom - kept clean. Downstairs is a very famous disco so if you would like to sleep at night do not choose this place. However as we went with the purpose of partying and were staying up...

Firstly, if its sleep your after then dont stay here. You literally have to go through a night club cloakroom to get to the lift that takes you to the rooms! The music is playing till 4am on weekends but we didnt mind at all since we were out till late anyways! The location is great! only a short 5...

Was in Budapest for a weekend and came to this place through booking.com and trivagio. Booked it the night before but unfortunately put down the wrong for October instead of September. Only realised when I was at the counter and the person there was so unhelpful. He refused to entertain the thought that he spoke English, wouldn't cancel my booking,...

With an objective eye the whole object needs a renovation. Especially the bathrooms. The best point of the hostel is that for a price of 14 EUR per night You have a seperate room, double or twin, in other hotels you could only get 10-people dorms for that. The location is nice close to most of attractions although next time...

It's cheap with clean rooms, but the noise from the disco EVERY night is very hard and do not expect to get a whole nights sleep while you are staying. The location is absolutely perfect. Its located on the most beautiful street in Budapest and you can walk everywhere.

A group of 4 stayed here for 2 nights while travelling Europe. At €10 a night we were not expecting much. It's very basic but has all the facilities needed. First impressions were good, with a nice big room. One major problem was the lack of Air conditioning! It was very hot at night and it was almost impossible to...

I found the management helpful, room a decent size and facilities pretty good for the money. The disco was on two of the four nights was there, but earplugs work... All in all a good value crash pad..

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
