I rented an apartment here for 5 nights. Location-wise, it was perfect - on Raday Street; the neighborhood is known as "Budapest Soho". It's quite central and a lot of the attractions are nearby, including the Danube, Chain Bridge, Gellért Hill, Parliament Building etc. It's an old apartment complex and you'd have to carry a bunch a keys to open...

Don't even know where to start with this apartment, firstly greeted by the oldest elevator I have ever seen, no signs up saying where the apartment is inside the four floors, the apartment is on the top floor with a rickety old banister and the concrete falling apart on the floor... When getting into the apartment and being greeted by...

The apartment was clean, very well - situated, near to everything you need - market, river, bars, restaurants. We were greeted by one of the representatives who was nice, explained us which places we should definitely visit etc. Apartment seemed safe and it is very affordable. Perfect price for a place like that.

We enjoyed our stay at the Maharaja. It was within walking distance from the city center and had everything we needed closeby: the market, restaurants, bars and shops. The rooms were clean and nice, athough we expected a bit more "India-feeling" in the furnishment. Also, the staff was very helpful with explaining how the room works and by telling us...

This is a quite, comfortable and basic establishment in a good location. It is convenient for good restaurants and transport, feels safe and is very affordable. I was however annoyed that what was advertised on booking.com was not what we recieved. Our "kitchenette" was essentially some cutlery and a fridge, and the pictures of a living area and other facitilities...

The hostel is well situated. We stayed one night overthere. The staff was nice and the room was clean. I was just a bit disapointed because I thought I would have a real "suite" not just a fairly tiny room with the shower. But it was still really ok, and I finally don't have any regret ! So go ahead!

After long trip from Salzburg -> Bratislava -> Budapest for about 6 hours, finally we reached Keleti pu, welcomed by a badly snowfall in the night. No other options than hiring a taxi and no bargain with the driver, but Eur 15 was quite reasonable to take us from station to Maharaja on Raday utca in such a terrible night....

Huge apartment with an amazing ambiance. There's even a washing machine. Extremely helpful & friendly staff who gave tips where to go and what to do. Very close to the Danube river bank for a stroll and the city centre. Easy access by public transport to and from the airport. No need to take a taxi. In summer it gets...
