Rooms are funky and small and can be a little noisy, but the location is excellent for transportation and restaurants. It is near the central market (worth visiting). We decided to pay for a "triple" to get the additional space as the rooms are small. We stayed in late November and the hotel seemed fairly full.

Had 2 nights at this hotel and would definatley go back. This Art hotel is situated adjacent to Vaci Ucta and is right in the middle of Budapest. The rooms were new and modern however they are very small. The breakfast was terrific. Both UK and Continental cooked food on offer. Only points I would suggest need attention are: The...

So, we stayed for 4 nights over a weekend. Staff we efficient and helpful. The hotel is clear, nice boutiquey decor that looks cool. Breakfast is decent. The big criticism however, was the room size. Rooms are really small, as you enter there was no right-hand side wardrobes as you get in most rooms; in fact the small wardrobe was...

I hate to write this. The reviews for this hotel are so overwhelming that writing even a small dissenting note makes me feel guilty ! Our biggest (& only !) problem was the very tiny rooms. The only time we ever stayed in a smaller room was on a cruise ship. Can get very difficult for a longer stay as...

The general wonderfulness of this place is well established, so let me use this review to stress that the Bohem Art Hotel is not just for hip, impecunious youth. Yes, it's stylish. Yes, its clientele seems to skew towards 20-somethings. Yes, it's a great value. But my wife and I--50-something and not impecunious--loved our visit and will definitely return next...

My wife and I stayed at the Bohem Art hotel for 4 nights during August. The location is great right of the main shopping street and the river. The staff was great as was the breaskfast buffet. We stayed in the single room with a pedestal bed and my wife loved it. I highly recommend this hotel for anybody visiting...

We stayed for two nights, room 102 (Art&History suite). Wow,just wow. Spacious room with unbelievably stylish interior. Various different lights create a cosy and romantic atmosphere. Another big plus of Bohem Art is it's perfect workforce. All team members are polite, helpful and cheerful without behaving artificially. Moreover, the breakfast is a big highlight. So go there and explore this...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
