Let me start by saying I understand that luxury cannot be had for under a hundred euros / night in any European capitol theese days. I must also say there is a need for a high end aparthotel in Budapest, however Boscolo recidences delivery - in our opinion - is somewhat lacking. There is, first and foremost, the issue of...

I don't want to sound like I'm complaining so I'll divide this into two sections. Pros - good central location, wifi functional and quick, spacious room, comfortable bed, great bathroom (shower / bath tub), clean and worth the price for sure. Cons - odd layout in room. The TV was in a strange location behind the breakfast table, there was...

We stayed as a family in the Boscolo for 3 nights, two adults and our son. We opted for the two bedroomed suite apartment. This was fantastic. Huge living/dining/kitchen areas with plenty of comfortable seating and a huge dining table. The kitchen was well equipped with dishwasher and even a washing machine. Not that we did any cooking but it...

We had a great stay at the Boscolo Residence. We had to check in in the middle of the night and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They even upgraded us to the Grand suite for no charge. The room was beautiful and clean. The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. We didn't spend much time in...

I have stayed in Budapest many times and this hotel exceeds all others. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was fabulous and even served with sparkling wine should you want to indulge. Location was great for us, with many restaurnats and bars within the vicinity. Every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay an enjoyable...

The Boscolo Residence was the perfect place to stay in Budapest. So convenient to buses, metro and trams. They speak and understand English well, but so do many in Budapest. The apartment was clean and modern and receptionist excellent in our one week stay. I would suggest purchasing a few supplies as breakfasts can be expensive and a bit hard...

We stayed here for 7 nights, the employees are speaking excellent english and they are extremely helpful. The apartment was bright, spacious with lots of storage and with excellent facilities. Cannot fault anything, we did not have any problems with the accommodation (bed is very comfortable) and for the price what we paid for it was fantastic value. Bathroom was...

The hotel is pretty good. Nice staff - English speakers - clean and tidy, nice big room with kitchenware for breakfast. It's location is also good. Next to Blaha Lujza metro station, Mercury, Novotel and a big road that takes you to most places. The place is relatively quiet if you want to lay low a little longer. The wifi...

I was in Boscolo last year and I was very satisfied, but this time, I was disappointed. We waited for 1 hour and 45 minutes for check in because the room was not prepared on agreed time. Floor was dirty and room smelled on cleaning liquid. Mini bar was empty during our 4 days. Second day, housekeepers didn't clean our...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
