Our room was large and ideal for communication with a large group of friends. The design of the rooms was typical of a hostel. The location of the hostel was strategic as it was just next to St. Stephen's Basilika. Towels were provided along with free tea in the common area. The staff were also helpful in guiding us through...

The hostel, with apartments around the square where its headquarters is located is perfectly situated in the heart of the old city of Pest. It lies next to St. Stefan's Basilika. On arrival with a booked taxi from the airport, a young receptionist welcomed us. He explained us most of everything from the hostel to the best places to eat...

Staff very friendly and helpful both before the stay and during, doing anything they could to help improve your stay. Brilliantly located right next to St Stephen's Basilica, ideal during December for the...

This hostel is incredible. The rooms are huge, warm, clean and beautiful. The staff are really helpful and friendly. The location is the best I have ever stayed in. I can't believe how lucky I was to stay here.

Pal's far exceeded our expectations. My friends and I stayed over the weekend in a four bed mixed dorm, which was more like an apartment than anything! The location was perfect for what we wanted to do and the view from our room was incredible too. The staff at reception were really helpful too!

We stayed at the private room w/bathroom for 4 nights. The apartment was big and very clean! The people are cool, helpful and honest. We also bought their transfer from/to the airport which was worthy. All in it was a great experience in a very nice hostel/apartment :)

Thank you for your kind words and again very sorry for the bed bugs. But your assumption is wrong. We have a strong sanitary policy. We do preventive extermination in every half a year and we inspect the beds at every cleaning. There was no bedbug infestation for a long time. The other rooms of the apartment was not infected....

Fantastic location close to three metro lines, next to St. Stephen's, close to the river and many sights. Lots of restaurants and shops right outside. Was in a building just a few doors down from the reception, with a kitchen, living room, and two bathrooms shared with just two other rooms. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
