Beautiful hotel with great staff. We elected the executive room which was unusually large and very nicely appointed. Very good value in a perfect location in the middle of Budapest right next to a park. Very modern design with large bathroom.

Nice location, but the rooms are wildly decorated - the couch was shaped like lips - and was red velvet. One of the chairs had shag-rug upholstery. There was a white oval "egg" hanging from the ceiling that had a whole in it to make a chair. It was all very odd!

Located near the stock exchange building and next to a gurgling playful fountain in the sidewalk, this hotel is a gem. The staff is young, super-polite (as I found typical of most Hungarians), very attractive, and eager to help. My superior double room was very roomy, tastefully modern in red and black, and comfortable with many amenities. The hotel also...

My wife and I spent 5 nights in The Iberostar. Our room was very large and facing the park. The hotel is quite with a good atmosphere. I can not comment on the breakfast since we did not eat in the hotel.

This hotel is perfectly placed for central Budapest tourism (near metro and walking distance to good food/sights). We used it as a base for the F1 Grand Prix weekend! Staff were very helpful on arrival and throughout our stay. Our room was a king room overlooking the square across the road, which was lovely. Rooms were kept clean and the...

We stayed 2 nights here on our honeymoon. The staff were friendly, and the hotel has a really interesting decor/style. Our room was "faux-boudoir"-esque, with a giant canopy bed and an excellent bathroom complete with rain shower. We had breakfast once here, it was very good and well priced. The service was also good. Location is perfect for walking around...

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
