Had a 4 night stay at this amazing place. First of all we arrived around 12 am and got the apartment immediately. We were greeted by a very friendly and knowledgeable staff member Suzanna who invested 20 minutes of her time answering alk our questions (metro, food etc...) and gave us a lot discount booklets and maps of the city...

As this was mine and my boyfriends first trip away together, it's always a worry that you'll book an awful place to stay and spend the whole time arguing and moaning with each other. So how very lucky we were to have booked here. Absolutely beautiful place.. Everything we could've possibly needed and such helpful staff. The location is perfect...

Well ,we went for cosmetic surgery so combined it with sight seeing etc. Well the city was beautiful, the people are friendly , polite , and can't fault it at all, the food was really great every where we eat , but they are over generous with their portion sizes And they get offended if you don't eat it all...

Nice shortly renovated clean room. The location is exellent and the staff (owners) were also very kind. Good restaurants and pubs are nearby like the metro station. Grocery and exchange office is downstairs. The only problem was the emergency vehicles which drowe always sirens on. Especial in the morning it was little bit disturbing.

We have just returned from Budapest and the Welcome apartments provided a great base to stay whilst we toured the city. The apartment (number 6) was more than big enough for the 2 of us, having a large open plan living room, dining kitchen, shower room and bedroom on the mezzanine floor. The apartment has everything you need and the...

I have to give all the credits to our short visit in Budapest to Zsuzsanna, the girl from the reception. She really made the whole experience better giving us all kind of advices, answering all our questions, calling for the second time or third time to the same place with a smile and a casual attitude just for asking one...

My family and I went on a 10 day vacation to Budapest in july. We wanted a real nice place to stay, a safe, clean and spatious place, we ordered the biggest apartment since we are 6 people. The taxi dropped us of at the entrance to the building. We went inside and walked up to the second floor to...

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
