we stayed 2 nights at the elvis guesthouse, we were greeted by a helpful lady who showed us the rooms and recommended places to eat, how to around and was generally pleasant... We never saw her again. The bedroom itself was comfortable and nice, big bed, some tatty old sheets and towels but they did the job. The bathroom was...

It has a good location but the place is very dirty, tincy and exensive for that kind of facility. It's not a house, it's a room. There's even no sofa to sit just some dirty thing as "sofa". I regret everyday of my stay in this facility.

This place has 2 properties and was in a good location (especially the one near the Keleti train station). Very cheap, room was always warm with its radiators, bed was comfartable and the bathroom was good, except one of the 2 rooms we were in ahad a leaking shower, so the floor was always wet. Breakfast is included, just simple...

WE stayed at the Guesthouse for one week. Everything was OK, even the breakfast. Usually I dont write comments, but in this case I do. First the receptionist guy was very nice with us, he helped to find the best places for eating, shopping etc. Second and more important, my girlfriend had a very strong pain in the teeth, at...

Hotel I decided to stay in is for sure also my last time there should I return in future. I was shocked by the horrible service provided by the reception, poorly cleaned rooms and so on.I would expect that people that are supposed to work with tourists at this time will be able to speak at one major foreign language....

We stayed in the Studio Zichy street, in the party area, very close to the center, many bars and restaurants just next door. I really loved the two-story room, it is unique and cosy enough. The receptionist guy was very kind, gave us maps and all the usefull information about Budapest. It was a pleasant suprise for us.

DO NOT GO TO THIS GUEST HOUSE. IT IS A SCAM. Unfortunately, I was stupid enough to not read reviews on trip advisor before booking. We arrived at the main station in budapest after confirming the address of the apartment the morning of our stay. However, we had a 15 minute taxi ride as the address we were given was...

I stayed at the apartment studio very next to the guesthouse and it was perfect. Near the center and there are a lot of pubs, bars and restaurant around! The staff at Elvis Guesthouse is helpful and I liked the kitchen in the studio. Thanks!

Terrible. The apartment is dirty, dark, smelly (Zichy Street) . We got a different apartment as on the photos (booking.com) and they did not change it (it could be possible). The smoking area is in front of our window.

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
