The owners were very welcoming. We had a room with a view of the square which just happened to be the weekend of a beer festival. Great views and atmosphere only drawback was from 1am Monday morning they started tearing down the beer stalls and road works. All I can say is there must be no noise in Budapest as...

We've stayed in the apartment downstairs for 5 nights. It was very cheap and comfortable. Own apartment, no stairs, big and spacious rooms for even 6 people. Own small patio. Fully independent. Good location, in the centre of Pest. 2 minutes on foot to tram (Harminckettesek tere) or bus station, 2 minutes to blue metro line (Kalvin ter) and 5-7...

Loved staying here, had our own studio apartment that was separate to the guesthouse. Located on a cool street with heaps of restaurants and cafes. Easy to walk to most attractions, otherwise it's handy to bus stops and the underground. Gyuri the Manager was so welcoming and friendly and gave us great recommendations. TV wasn't working which wasn't a big...

We spent 4 nights at Jimi Hendrix last November. The guesthouse is located on a lovely square at an excellent location in Budapest, with most interesting places easily accessible on foot. Peter (the host) and the rest of the staff were very helpful, welcoming and kind. I would definitely go back!

We stayed in a private room for 4 nights and were very pleased with the accommodation. The guesthouse is situated in a pedestrian square with plenty of good quality restaurants/bars nearby. It is located approx 15-20min walk to the heart of the city & main attractions. There is also a metro line close by (5min walk away). The owners were...

First start withe the positive: Great location on picturesque square with terraces and restaurants, walking distance (10-15 minutes) from city center and Danube, nice and clean room, free use of internet and free wifi. Our room was spacious and airy, with two big windows ,with a double bed in a loft upstairs, so basically we had two floors in our...

The rooms were surprisingly clean, nice hardwood floor and tile. Some rooms were huge in size, and the smallest room was still decent. The guesthouse was laid out in a way that it was both private and social, depending if you wanted to meet people or just hide away. It was completely your choice. It is located on a "square"...

“If travelling in summer if could be hot in the apartment and it might be noisy with the window open. They do provide a fan. Don't be afraid to explore District 8. The ruin bars are worth a look but very touristic. Always buy a metro ticket as inspectors are at every metro station but less on the tram system. Try one of the Funnel cakes they are delicious and so is the Goulash!! Beautiful City!”
