Went there for Business, it was fine. The hotel is in need for renovation, but still fine. I liked the breakfast, which had a big variety, so everybody will find something to their taste. Also nice restaurant for Dinner or quick lunch.

We were booked in here for a four day trip after leaving Budapest 2 years previously, where we had lived for four amazing years. Since we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary we decided to go all out and stay at the Kempsinski. The staff were amazing and the 'Ladies in Red' organized a bottle of champagne in an ice...

Coming from the fantastic Boscolo Hotel in Prague, the Kempinski was deceiving. Is not only a different type of hotel, but lacking the kindness of the staff and the maintainance of the romos could be better for a 5 stars hotel. The best, the breakfast.

I stayed at this hotel whilst on a trip for work. The decor is really nice and the rooms are spacious and well-equipped with everything that is necessary for a short trip. The spa was open nice and early enabling me to go for a quick swim in the morning before the long day ahead. I really enjoyed my stay...

This is a fine hotel, with the usual uniformed doormen, polite staff, clean rooms, and good location. There were 3 things that I found annoying for an expensive hotel: 1. The free wifi requires re-registering every 24 hours (even if you stay for a week). So if you register at 7pm, then the next day your are in the middle...

The hotel has very nice location in the city centre just next door to the "Shopping street" and close to major attractions. The hotel is offering also one of the best breakfast in the city and the WiFi is fine and reliable. I had a chance to stay in the brand new and freshly renovated room #610, which has a...

There is a great coffee shop in the hotel called ES Deli serving fabulous coffees and rolls. The Bistro restaurant has a great patio for outdoor dining. Concierges were very helpful in arranging trips and restaurants. Large parking garage...

This really is a good hotel, the staff on the floor are excellent, the facilities in the hotel are very good and then you get to your room. It's a nice enough room, standard fair for it's type but then when you go for a shower you have to crouch or bend down or just get on your knees to...

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
