We stayed at the Kempinski over the Easter weekend. Budapest was unseasonably cold, but that was NOT the fault of the hotel !! That said, if it had been warm weekend, we would probably have done a more favourable review (so unfair) ... The hotel...More
Very comfortable rooms, bathroom impeccable, and friendly check in/check out service. Breakfast buffet with plenty of choice. In one sentence: as a business traveller you don't want to worry about all of the above, and that's exactly what you get here. Central location, so also...More
Everything was top class- from airport pickup to check-in, rooms, services, F&B, conference facilities, etc. Highly recommend. Good location also. Had great breakfasts here as well as lunch and evening snacks at the bar. What you would expect from a Kempinski, but at a more...More
My husband and I spent three days there at the end of a Viking cruise in November. The location was an easy walk to many attractions and public transportation. The hotel's restaurant was excellent for breakfast and a casual meal. Service was also excellent; the...More

I've stayed at this lovely hotel several times over the past few years, initially owing to the calm, tranquil spa and style of spa services. I'd highly recommend this hotel, especially to travellers who have questions and are looking for ideas or recommendations for dining,...More

Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention
and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.

Yes, I agree with the OP, that the hotel does have great limo service that will be waiting for you with a sign at arrivals and you can relax an enjoy right away. Just get in touch with the concierge by emailing the hotel. They are wonderful. This is what I would do for sure. Another option is If you have local currency (huff) the taxi stand at the airport I did note that they do give the general taxi fares so you know how much the taxi should cost. So there are two options. Again, I used the private transfer and would again.
